- We went to the Longsheng (Longji) Rice Terraces in Guilin, in the Guangxi Province of China! A perfect day trip from Guilin, can easily be turned into an overnight stay for us.
Stepping away from the city life, we explored the rice terraces which are located just a few hours outside of Guilin. We stayed in a local guesthouse and hiked through the rice terraces taking in its beauty! This is something you need to put on your China Bucket List!

That is a lohan kuo( the one you said looks like an egg). It's a cooling drink for heatiness. Dunno the english name. It's a type of like fruit but bitter if not ripe and very sweet by itself if ripe. I think it is dried before used to make drink.
Oh, that sounds like what she said! It was a little sweet and bitter, definitely helped in the heat.

Sadly, most of that video in in selfie mode. It would have been more interesting to get the focus on Longshen. Why so much content in selfie mode ? It is unfortunate.
