  • The Essi Flynn review, after 2 months of using Suvie Kitchen Robot. Can you really put food in the night before and wake up with breakfast ready to eat? What can you really expect this robot to do and how it's worked for me, Pros and Cons and some tips I learned along the way. All opinions are my own. Also, it should be noted that Suvie did not sponsor this video and I spent my own money on this Suvie. I am not affiliated with Suvie in any way.
    My opinions are my own. I am a fan of good products that help improve people's lives and I enjoy passing on what I know, to my viewers. My channel is here to share my opinion and give you an up close look at the positives and negatives on products that have improved my life and might do the same for you.

      Um, no. This seems to be a legitimate review, and very helpful. But, people post sponsored reviews and even reviews of free samples, taking care to mention a few minor "cons". Not enough to offend the manufacturer or disourage a potential buyer, but just enough to make the review a bit more realistic. This seems to fool a lot of people. I'm just puzzled why there aren't more rviews of Suvie 3, good or bad, except on their website.

      **BUYER BEWARE** Paid for the Chef's Package Dec 5, 2021. Received only the Kitchen Robot and none of the accessories or the Pasta Machine. Waited patiently for 10 months. I had to be the one to email 2 or 3 times to ask regarding delivery status but on both occasions it was not delivered as promised. They finally offered if I wanted to have a refurbished one!! I declined and asked for a refund. Still waiting for said refund.

    the only thing that is stopping me from buying is the price of the meal plans. its just me and my wife. I dislike cooking so we eat out far too often, usually fast food. both unhealthy and expensive. having frozen or premade meal plans you can scan, schedule and have ready for after work sounds great. but the average meal costs as much per serving as we would spend going out to eat somewhere better than we normally get, and the recipes have as much prep as just cooking normally in both time and work.
    Hoping you could comment on how you have found the meal plans as a value proposition.

    Thank you so much for this video, you answered many questions i had. Could you please make another video going in depth about,
    #1 the delayed cooking feature. If I understand correctly you can load leave on chill then it will start cooking at a set time? Just not high temperature cooking. So coud i load a steak or casserole in before I go to work then have it automatically start cooking from the app when I start heading home? For the steak once i am how turn to broil and sirach the crust? I am very excited about being able to load it with eggs as soon as my alarm goes off in the morning as my time is very limited.
    #2 cleaning of the inside of the machine. I wand to cook meats like ribs, ribeye steak, or cheesy casserole dishes or lasagna that may splatter and bubble Up. Sounds like cleanup of the pans is a lot easier and doing dishes from cooking over the stove. But I'm curious about how you get the inside of the machine clean?
    #3 how well does it cook something like pork chops or a ribeye steak? I'm not extremely interested in the pre prepped meals.
    Just so you understand where I am coming from. I work extremely long hours 13 or 15 hour days mostly been limited to cooking things in the Crock-Pot for the full 13 hours while I'm gone which doesn't work very well for a lot of things it's just too long. I live in a camp trailer space is limited which you already answered and it sounds like the cleanup would also help me out a lot.
    I am single. I work very hard and need to eat quality food when out on a job to stay healthy. However with the time constraints it's difficult to prepare a good meal and do all the cleaning after a long day at work. Most guys at my job end up eating at a gas station or fast food. This is not only not healthy but also very expensive. I prefer to cook and make my own food and am always trying to figure out any shortcuts to save some time.
    Whats you take woud this help me out? Or only be a slightly better way to make my food?
    I am amazed there seems to be a lack of information filling in some of these questions from the company and reviewers. Especially regarding the pre-programming and AutoStart remote access through the web, features and their exact functionality. I often don't know exactly when I'll be getting off work so it would be nice to be able to hit start cook when I start my drive home. They seem to really be focused mostly on the pre-made meal plans which I'm not interested in.
    Thank you very much.

    Wow! I really appreciate the honest (non-sponsored review). I just ordered my 3.0 today and was concerned because of the cost of the oven, but your video helped alleviate some of my fears. In a family where everyone has different schedules, and my daughter eating as late as 7:30 after swim practice, the Suvie looks like a great oven to have around. I noticed in your video that you are pulling pre-packaged chicken breats out of the freezer, is that something you can find at Costco? I did sign up for the Suvie meal plan as it was free with the over for the first set, but I can't see myself spending 10-12 per serving in the long run. TY again for the great review.

    • @EssiFlynn
      @EssiFlynn  9 місяців тому +1

      The prepackaged chicken that I used in this video was actually from Souvie. But I am sure you can get it from other places. We only tried their meal plans once, as they did not include all foods that were safe from our allergies, even though we asked. Here’s hoping you can find some pre-packaged chicken like you’re looking for. Thanks so much for your kind words and thanks again for stopping by.

  • @craig4451

    I'm awaiting my Suvie 3.0 but it will be just for me. Can the meals (typically 2 servings) be split over two or do you think it would be easier to cook them and then just reheat the 2nd serving?

    • @EssiFlynn
      @EssiFlynn  Рік тому +2

      It really depends on what you are making. If it's something good, reheated, then sure, make plenty and re-heat later. For meat, I find that I cook based off of what I've thawed out. For instance there might be 4 chicken breasts in the package, so that's what I make, but for things like squash, I only cook what we need for that meal, because, you know, who want's to eat squash re-heated? :) And remember you can just use one Suvie drawer if that is all you need. You just have to use the bottom one.
      Hope this helps.

    I'm a trucker and haven't been able to find anything to use while on the road. I don't like using a microwave but I've had to since that's the only option inside my truck due to space. Suvie looks and sounds perfect but I have 2 questions: what are the dimensions of the unit and can I prep my own meals instead of using the company's prep meals? Thank you for this video

    • @EssiFlynn
      @EssiFlynn  Рік тому +5

      I can appreciate your not wanting to use a microwave. The 3.0 option that Suvie currently sells and the dimensions are 20" deep 14" wide and 13" high. You would want to be able to have room behind it and above it when in use as it can get hot and also remember that up above you have the water tank. Don't know how stable it is in the cab while in motion, but the water tank with the removable lid would be what I am most curious about. You might contact Suvie or at least look at the dimensions on their website. Perhaps that could give you a better idea? But if you do decide to get one, I would love to see pictures of how this worked out for you in the Cab. :).
      To answer the second part of your question, yes, you absolutely could prep your own meals! We make a lot of squash or cut up sweet potato and chicken breast for meals in this thing. My husband constantly uses it just for veggies when he's taken over the oven with meat, etc..
      Thanks so much for stopping by and these great questions!

    I understand that most Americans eat far greater serving sizes than suggested but these pans no way look capable of holding the serving sizes for vegetables for a family of 4+ (heck, even 3+) in one tray and same for protein in the other.

      I totally get what you’re saying. And it probably depends on whether or not you are serving teenagers etc. we have a family of three (with one teenager ) and when we use these we always have leftovers for at least one more person. But I know everyone is different. Hope this helps.

    What was your shipping time like from order to receiving your suvie?

    • @EssiFlynn
      @EssiFlynn  2 роки тому +2

      I had to wait six months until delivery, but I know this is not the same for everyone. As I mention in the video I ordered mine in June of 2021 and took delivery in December of 2021. But I know that when I ordered mine they were dealing with supply shortages and getting a big delivery before being able to ship it out to customers. In January, their website mentioned that they had them in stock so I am sure folks who ordered then did not have to wait nearly as long as I did. I think it really just depends if they have them in stock. I would check their website to see what they say about the latest model and if they have them in stock.

      It's always that way with new technology. Microwaves, in the early 70's, were too expensive for most people to afford. Only the upper middle class families had them, originally. I'm sure the price will start coming down once competitors start making similar products and the newness wears off. That's what I'll be waiting for because $400 is much more than I can afford on a limited income.

    I started watching this while looking for an honest review. I saw the title and started. Then I saw your video was sponsored by Suvie. You also do sound like an actress. This video is definitely not sponsored by Suvie. I pay for every single item I review with my own money and once in a while I will be able to pass on a special discount to my followers but in this case that has not happened. This is very much all my own work and I don’t get a cent out of Suvie. If I do get an affiliate deal with anyone that I review, I make sure to make that crystal clear in the description. And thank you for the compliment that I sound like an actress. I take what I do very seriously and every video takes a lot of time and effort and energy. I do all the testing myself, and I do all of the video work and editing and I write up the review and do all of the voiceover and camera work myself. It made me regret 75% of my comment on your video. I must have misunderstood about the sponsorship. More importantly, your reply made me think and wish I’d been more considerate.
