I originally shot this thinking it would be a short, but it ended up much longer so I apologize for shooting it in this mode.

I just started using it & I love it!
Thank you for the comprehensive review of how to use the Suvie and explaining how it works. Your review is most definitely a help in making the decision to purchase or not purchase this device. Of the dozen or so reviews, this is the best. I am glad I waited for about a minute, as I initially thought it was more of the same. Glad I gave you and the video a chance.

Unfortunately, I’ve dropped using Supernatural in the last year plus after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Lots of surgeries and lots of chemo. Hoping to get back into it after I heal from the most recent surgery. Have you tried it yet? Be well, Essi

Hi Essi--thank you again for these reviews. Do you believe that the premium subscription is really needed for this? I'm okay with the high up front cost of the Gardyn, but the subscription seems a bit much. Thoughts? Also, is the 4.0 model significantly better than the 3.0? Hello Don, Thanks so much for your question and comment. I will tell you what I did. I ended up getting a two-year subscription when I first started all of this with the 1.0. After that I let it expire and I ordered Rockwool cubes from Amazon and reused the Y cubes that I could with my own seeds. you can order small round baskets that will fit these holes from Amazon and while I did try that I didn’t like how it looked, and it didn’t really lock in really well and since this is part of grow food for my family, but also I want it to look good in My Home. I did not stick with those. So it’s really up to you. the problem with the new cubes is that I am noticing the white stuff I mentioned in my video actually seems to be coming from the cubes themselves and not the food. I plan on bringing this up to Gardyn but just haven’t had the chance to do that yet. My concern is that overtime. The newer cubes may potentially break down faster than the older ones dead but I haven’t had these new ones long enough yet to really see if that happens so stay tuned. Hope this helps. Almost forgot to answer your question about the difference between the two of them. You can feel free to watch my review of the 3.0 but if you prefer to have a much cooler system because of where you live and what temperature you keep your house that might play into why it might be worth it to get the 4.0. Time will tell how well the new thickness to the columns makes a difference with the green algae buildup. I have not had big issues with algae buildup on the 3.0 yet, it’s been quite moderate. But I do really like the improvements where they’ve added the gray band around the bottom on the new 4.0. I just haven’t had it long enough to see if it makes a difference with build up on the outside and the leaching out of the deposits from the food or, algae on the inside. Hope this helps.

The white stuff is probably fertilizer salts that are drying and crystallizing
I bet the white stuff is calcium or magnesium from your water forming on the ycubes. You might have hard water at your location.
So the food is actually the same, just got different packaging. I've heard the white flakes come from the ycubes themselves, the new material I guess. I haven't noticed that on mine yet so I am obviously not sure. Just have seen people talk about it on the Gardyn Facebook group. Loved seeing this review BTW, the original Gardyn video is how I first discovered you so these just make me so happy. 😊
Hi! Do you think it’s worth the extra $150 to get the 4.0 instead of the 3.0
Thanks for your review! When you provide your next update, please show us how easy it is to clean the unit. I don't like how older units require you to lift the whole structure up as it's heavy and messy on the floor. If they have made that process easier and better, I'd love to know that!

I learned how to meditate, focused on whatever made the heart smile, looked thru the eyes of joy and laughter (both healers). Watched programs that would encouraged positive thoughts. Anything outside of that was a flat no. I did not speak it nor did I claim it. I pray this comforts you as it did for me.

I'm overweight for the first time in my life. It all began during covid..I got use to staying on the couch and eating. It was such a drag. I had this thought (why isn't there a fitness program for VR)... Ten years ago when I was an avid runner. Low and behold here it is. Very cool. I'm doing the Center workout program, it's working so far...But this looks so fun, and workouts can be a drag.
