Have you ever wanted to create your own custom car decal without having to pay a crazy cost? Do it the DIY way with vinyl you can buy at most craft stores, and you can even cut it by hand. Make a funny gift for a friend, or promote your business. You can make your own car decals at home quick, easy and cheap with this tutorial.
You can also use a cricut or silhouette to cut your vinyl. Doing it by hand works as well! These DIY car sticks are fun to make, and are really inexpensive.
Here's a quick video showing you how to "weed" and transfer sign vinyl, especially when you've cut out a complicated design.

(Also, if you live near a JoAnns and want some cheap fusible interfacing, they've had 10 yards on a bolt for super cheap during their day after Thanksgiving sale for the last five years. Is this self adhesive vinyl or a vinyl decal?

This is standard sign vinyl. It does adhere on it's own (i.e. you dont have to use glue or anything).
