Another great vid. CIM was my first marathon of 2 I’ve done and it was by far one of the smoothest-run events! The first half is deceivingly tough but you’re a dog so I know this will be a great one.
I have a stress fracture at the moment so I can run I wanted to start my channel but now I have to wait 6-12 weeks so watching you have good success early makes me feel happy good work bro I’ll continue watching 😊
Glad I stumbled on your channel! Good luck at CIM! Also I recommend reaching out to the OSU Running Club sometime. I’m sure they’d be happy to have someone like you along for some runs and events. DM me if you’re interested in more info on them. Cheers!
Amazing video, I really enjoyed watching...only thing I would say is that I would like just a bit more footage of you running rather than the kind of POV (just a personal opinion). Also, how do you manage to run that much while also having a full-time job? I'm struggling and I'm only doing 6 miles....
Thank you! Great feedback. I don’t really like POV either, I’m just still figuring out how to get more running footage during workouts like this. It’s a bit difficult to do without an extra hand to help film, and for runs like that I had to prioritize the workout over getting footage. Second, short answer is that it takes up pretty much all of my free time making sure I sleep / recover enough, and I’ve taken years to build up mileage
Heard that Matt fox (sweat elite) is pacing through half at 69:30, thoughts on this and what the B and C goals are would be dope to hear! Loving everything about the content
I heard that as well! Likely going to go with that group if I feel good, but it all depends on effort. Probably gonna put out a video on the taper / race plan next week pre race with A/B/C goals as well
A) Metaspeed edge is lighter and a bit more aggressive than the VF3, the forefoot has a bit more foam and a geometry that I like better. B) a bagel with two eggs, and a Trader Joe’s BBQ chicken pizza right when I got in the door
Thanks! I got probably about a mile total of recovery between intervals adding up the 2-3 min jogs, and I had a 3.5 mile cool down after finishing the reps to get to 24 miles. Full splits are on my strava if you’re curious about more details!
I’ve been using Formula 369. It’s got a pretty neutral flavor and is really high in carbs. 3 servings (90g carbs, 360 cals) in a 575ml bottle of water is still not overly sweet so I’m a fan
That jacket is just elite
It’s so peak

Thanks man, that’s great to hear! I’ve got a plan to tackle the first half, which I’ll likely share in a vid this week
You got it 🏃🏻!!! Good luck 🍀
Thank you!
Killer workout! You’re gonna destroy the 2:20 goal brother
Good luck on the race!
This video got me up for a dark cold run I did not want to do tonight but knew I needed to. I can’t even fathom running your speed 🙇♂️ 🙇♂️ 🙇♂️
Glad I was able to help get you out the door! That’s always the hardest part of the run in my opinion
Nice video! I’m also running CIM and I’m super stoked. Going for a sub-3 if the stars align and everything is perfect. Good luck with the taper.
Thank you! Best of luck with your goal!
The algorithm recommended this video. Glad I watched it. Good stuff. Got yourself another subscriber 👍
Thanks for watching mate 🤝
Great stuff! Very motivating

Thanks for the support! Hope the stress fracture heals up soon, that’s a bummer

Glad you came across this channel too! Thanks for the info, that’s great to know. I’ll keep it in mind for early 2025 when my schedule clears up a bit

Why metaspeeds over vaporflys? And what did you eat after the long run?
A) Metaspeed edge is lighter and a bit more aggressive than the VF3, the forefoot has a bit more foam and a geometry that I like better.
B) a bagel with two eggs, and a Trader Joe’s BBQ chicken pizza right when I got in the door
Fire video
What camera do you use? Sick video again
I use the Insta360 Go 3S. It’s pretty great for someone like me who doesn’t have anyone around at the moment to help film
Awesome workout!!
I see 19 miles… did you get additional 5 miles as a recovery between intervals or cool down?
Thanks! I got probably about a mile total of recovery between intervals adding up the 2-3 min jogs, and I had a 3.5 mile cool down after finishing the reps to get to 24 miles. Full splits are on my strava if you’re curious about more details!

Awesome video man I sent you a DM on IG. Good luck at CIM see you there!
Thanks! Sick, see you there
