Some people get butt hurt about these videos and throw out words like sell out. I think Vladimir has earned my trust and I think he has the integrity to talk about or endorse products he actually likes, not just those that throw money or free stuff his way. Thanks to your videos I started using good shoes. Previously, I only wore glued shoes on a rubber sole. And after I tried Goodyear welted shoes, I no longer want to wear my cheap shoes.
I started gradually creating my shoe collection. At first I bought a black cup toe oxfords from Loake 1880 and I liked them so much that I also bought chukka boots in suede from this line. Now I wanted something more special and I bought Berwick burgundy double monks.
Here in Russia I can find only this brand mentioned in your video abought afordable Goodyear welted shoes. But I really want to try split toe from Meermin.
I am so glad that I learned about good quality dress shoes from you. I used to think that $200 - $300 for shoes was very expensive (In some provinces of my country, $300 is an average salary per month). But if they serve me for 15-20 years with proper care, the price seems more than justified. Not only does this shoe look much better than the one I used to wear but it is also much more comfortable.

Yo, Vlad! God damn, those balmoral boots are fire!!! Unfortunately, I have planned ahead and the next two boots I'm getting are a Balmoral from Cobbler Union and a custom one from TLB (because their new boots are insane).
Also, if I may suggest....either the Oxblood Horween Russia Hatch Grain, the Weinheimer Chestnut, or Ilcea Museum Chelmer. I just feel like those all suit your style very well.

@@mathufar96 Vegano leather just means that the leather doesn't have that final finish from the tannery. So it makes it easier to alter the color if you wanted to. Some also say you can get a mirror shine quicker than with box calf.

@@v_r_ truth - not replicating an existing boot is tough. #firstworldproblems Might lean towards a dress boot, since I can pick a last and go up in width and closed lace tall boots can be a tricky fit for me.

It sure is. The great thing with the Patterson, you can pick 2 different leathers, one for the top like in suede for example and one for the vamp. You just have to include it in the notes. That’s what I would do
