Making progress! Great weather we've been having to be working outside in Florida. I'm finishing up my gazebo; electricity and fans next. That looks like the Redlands area.
Kubota is a great compact tractor for things like that, Meike. I have a L2501 as well and has been a great little workhorse on our property. Bought it 3 years ago this coming July. Something that may work for you on getting those weeds. If you go in front 1st with your bucket. You can tilt it forward, put a little down pressure on ituse and pull it backwards. Ive done it many times around here. That way you have bare ground then can burn the weeds or use as compost. I have a 61" rotory cutter on mine, have thought about the backhoe but couldn't justify the cost versus the use so we just got tge loader, rotory, trailer and box blade. Its been a wonderful useful purchace and a life saver. Its been a huge asset too for enlarging to pond and dredging. Im happy for ya, you've definitely got your work cut out for yourself. Good luck, stay safe and keep some PPE handy, don't need your legs all scratched up and watch for the copperhead and water moccasin snakes 😉
Thank you Meike. You’re a Git’er Done Girl! That’s pretty too. It’s going to be fun to follow you on your projects here along with learning from the Master Carpenter and Equipment Operator! 👍😎💪😃

Good morning and great video Meike. Nice tractor and polesaw. Go ahead and burn the brush pile 🔥🔥. Take care and have a blessed and safe week and I'll see you on your next video
I thought about it, but that would turn into a HUGE fire. i might have to pull the pile apart and make a few smaller ones before I got the fire department rolling in 😂🤣
You have your work cut out for you, good choice of machines, Kubota is the best IMO, and your zero turn mower is a beast. Can't wait to see what you create next. Fyi, some friendly advice from myself (as a builder) that may help you... when you backfill your trenches, it's best to do it in multiple layers and compact it as you go, the depth of each layer depends on what you are using to compact it, if you are using your foot and body weight then aim for 100-200mm increments (depending on your soil type) and if you are using machinery to compact it then maybe 300mm increments, otherwise over time the trench will settle and you will end up with a long sunken channel that's hard to mow / trip hazard. It also helps to drive your machinery wheels along the length of the trench when you are done as a final compaction.
Thanks for the tip, that’s very technical but I can drive the tractor tires along the trench, that sounds like an awesome tip! Thanks I appreciate it 👍
The videos keep getting more hot as time goes by 🔥🥵 One simple trick I use on my Kubota when I need to look over the front end is to put my left knee down in the seat and my foot over the top of the seat back. This way I can stand up and still operate. Let’s see you try it in the next video 👌🏼
Not going to lie, as a landscaper I'm really jealous your cleaning that place up. I hope your doing before and after pictures. That's something I always forget to do. The tractor is perfect for what you need around the property. It will be better once you learn how to drive it. One word of advice. When you put the pole chain saw on the ground try to keep the chain out of the dirt. The worst thing you can do is get sand and dirt in the chain. It can wear out the bar and chain very quickly.

I was wondering why you didn't get a tractor with a brush hog first to remove all your brush. But I am glad you finally have one. Needed for what you are doing.
Thanks 👍Yes, i had to get my finances sorted out but now I was able to finance one. I was told Kubota also holds their value pretty good for resale porposes if needed.
@@WhatMeikeMakes Yes, Kubota is a good brand and it should give you many years of great service. Thank you for sharing this project with us. I am thoroughly enjoying watching someone as crazy as I am doing exactly what I would do. You should be scared...Real scared! Lol
