hi! I just found you from a lymphoma survivor video! I am 17 years old and two days ago i was diagnosed with lymphoma. i go back to the hospital tonight to prepare for a PET scan in the morning. I’m so terrified because I already fainted just from my bone marrow wounds. My anxiety makes me really nauseous and I’m scared that adding that along side chemo will make me suffer. I look up to you because you were able to get through this. I have a huge fear of needles and blood aswell. I’m not sure what type I have specifically, but I should find out tonight. It’s leaning more towards non-Hodgkin. I’m going to graduate in two weeks and turn 18 aswell. I feel like the timing couldn’t be any worse. I was misdiagnosed for seven months straight. They told me I had tortocollitis, they told me I had fibromyalgia, they told me it was happening due to a TMJ issue, which i have had since 7th grade without any big issues. I didn’t wanna think it was cancer but I knew it was. After all of my research I knew. I’m going to watch your more of your journey to help ease my worries. ❤

The drs allowed you to bleach hair? My dr said no to bleaching my hair and I feel like doing it anyway. I’m seven post transplant.
