Something I recently started doing is using cheap makeup sponges (the ones that come in a sheet of wedges you pull apart) instead of cotton swabs to clean my clay! I find it doesn't leave behind any fibers that sometimes the cotton swabs do! I love your work and your videos by the way! 🤍
I use those sponges as well. Ive also found that the cotton swabs used by people who do eyebrow microblading are WAYYY better than regular ones!!! They are more compact, have no loose cotton and are pointy so you can get in really tight spaces to clean then up! I dip them in isopropyl alcohol and this also help smooth out things even further!
My parents gave me two Siamese cats when I moved out, and they were such wonderful companions. 🥰 I still miss them. 🥲 People can be lovely, but animals really are special souls. 🐶🐱
You should be very proud of yourself. Being a professional artist and going to school is alot but your slaying it. Your getting through it step by step, day by day. Your stronger than you think. Thank you for sharing a peice of your story with us. It's very inspiring.
Thank you for posting these vlogs, whenever I’ve had a hard day I watch your videos because they just feel so welcoming and cozy. I’ve just recently attempted to sculpt clay art and you inspire me so much.
I have been having such a difficult time the last couple of days for a lot of different reasons and binge watching your videos has really been a safe space, you said specifically how much you miss your family in this video as you just had moved out and it honestly made me feel so sad and also validated bc I moved abroad to study last year and this is the first time I’ll not be able to see my family for Christmas, realizing how this is the first year I’ll not have them with me made the whole year of waiting to see them again kinda surreal bc now it turns into 2 or who knows how long.
Just wanted to say that you inspire me and my husband a lot! We both started doing this for fun and it's honestly the best quality time we can have together. I love your videos, they make me feel so safe!
cheaper version of supplies that work fine to start off; glaze= clear nail polish.1-2 coats pastel chalk= chalk sculpting tools= bal-point pen (that ran out of ink), toothpick, knife. polymer clay= sculpey premo (smallest vrs they have i think) pasta maker= acrylic roller glass panel= cookie sheets.
Thanks Tammy for your youtube content. Currently feeling low, and after watching your vlog, i feel better! Your vlog really brings me comfort! Love the new studio btw! Amazing ceramics + aesthetic vlog 🌺👍🏻
I just have to say I love you and the things that you do. I can feel the thought you put in when you put your art and business together. It’s okay to be anxious but know that you’re not alone, there’s two or more of us.
Your art is so comforting and cozy, I recently became a subscriber and I always look forward to your videos! Thank you for doing what you do and spreading joy ❤
Your art really is so sweet and soothing 🌸 I think even though you had to take a break from posting as much there’s still a lot of new folks who have been able to find you ✨ like me! 🤪😂 Congratulations on the move and this big new step! 🤗
I just subscribed a while ago and i find your videos very comforting! It makes me want to sculpt clay while watching your vid hehe i love your art style too! I hope you can make more vids like this 🥰
This is the most soothing content. I was so shocked to see your business’s PO address 😂 I live in Lakewood. So cool to see such a talented individual in the county. I’m going to check out your online shop!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us! Best of luck! 😊
Thank you for this cozy vlog, it's always so relaxing watching your videos! :) I'm a clay artist myself and I had a question about glazing with UV resin (I use the same one as you) - how do you manage to make it cure perfectly without leaving lines? What I mean is if I have a 3D object like the babushkats and I glaze it completely and leave it under the UV lamp, the upper part will cure but the other side would stick to the bottom of the lamp and stay sticky, so I usually take my pliars, take the hook and hold the object in the air under the lamp but it takes forever + I have to rotate it :/ thank you so much in advance, looking forward to your next videos! :)
I discovered your channel at work when I was having a really hard day. It brought me so much inspiration for change in my career life. Your videos feel so comforting too! Thanks for doing these & take care of yourself and take it easy, moving is very stressful ❤
I love your work. I tip for your homemade stamp is to not put a handle on the back but rather to buy a heavy roller and then roll over the stamp standing up so you’re using your weight and the weight of the roller. It will help prevent any repetitive strain injury. There would be some sort of matching that could do that I’m sure but this would be a cheap and safer alternative for your joints🤓 Can I ask how you use your pasta machine? Do you need to get the clay to a certain thickness and softness before you can roll it? Also, when you put the pieces out in the sunlight to set the up coating, do you have to turn them over to do the other side? Much love from Brisbane Australia💖 Edit: One last question, do you gloss the bases and if so, do you do that by zapping the top first then doing the base afterwards?
Ahhh, that roller tip is so useful thank you SO much!! I’m definitely trying to mitigate any future body aches and strains for future tammy :,) for the pasta machine, it has different settings for thickness. so for super thin setting, i try to get the clay at least 1/4 an inch thick before using the machine, but they’re hard to break so don’t worry! and yes, i zap the top and bottom separately!
Hey girl, congratulations on the move. Big changes like that freak me out too. I agree, it gets easier. 😄 I have a question as well - how do you prevent your light colored clay from browning in the oven. Everyone online says to shield it and I tried that but it didn't help 🫤
Omg! I'm so glad you upload new vlog!! Omggg I just discovered you and I already watched all of your vlogs. They make me so comfy while working so yeah, I hope to see more vlogs from youuu
You live where I do! ❤️ I saw the Tivoli and got all excited! I love finding local artists. Do you ever do anything local like The People's Fair? Your little critters are so cute!
God Tam I am so lucky to be able to call you my friend, you are the most hardworking person I know and I value your friendship so much. Come back to arts of Japan I miss you in class ☠️
I had experiences where the resin would scab/separate on the parts I painted with acrylic paint over time so I'm wondering if you don't experience that? Now I coat them with clear spray paint or gloss before I finish off with resin coating. Lovely creations by the way!!
My wife is wanting to start creating things with air dry clay. Could you point me in the direction of some good starter items and a source for the clay itself? Her birthday is in November and I’m looking to surprise her. Your work is awesome 😊
I was wondering are the Maxine keychains and phone charms different sizes? In the video they kind of looked like different sizes. Also love your art and the reasons why you make them. 💗💗
How do you prevent the clay from dripping? I find that sometimes right after using resin some parts will drip down wards and then leave some spots in glazed. Please help!
What type of eye pins do you use for your keychains? I’m trying to find the best way to may keychains with my clay without the eye pins coming off. Any advice?
The shiny coating is known as "glazing" it's made up of small plastic particles etc which helps in keeping the product (clay in this case) strong and long lasting
Yes, my p.o. box is still the same one :,) prior to moving i paid for 3 more months of it haha so I still use it for my business and check on it every now and then!

Also I hope it continues to get easier for you as you continue to live in your new home! I just moved last year so I know how uncomfy it can get
ah thank you so much! that’s such a good idea!
@@tammydinh Yes, good idea. The Dollar Tree has packages of cosmetic sponges - and many crafts supplies - for $1.25 each. 😺

The creativity for your characters for your shop is so cool! After using the uv resin, how do you clean the brush? ❤
How do you prevent the pieces from sticking to the surface when the resin is fresh? ♥ I'm a new sub and I'm binge watching your vids tehehe

Do you have a recipe for us for the artichoke tea? I am looking for anything refreshing and hydrating to change up my routine.
whats the name of the song from the very beginning? love ya!
Vietnamese?? ❤❤ wintermelon tea is REALLY good aswell❤
Hello, after you baked the clay its the time to put resin? And it is ok to put the metal for the keychain while baking the clay?
How do you prevent the resin from becoming flat on one side of the keychains and getting the resin on all sides of the desktop friends?
How do you prevent the clay from dripping? I find that sometimes right after using resin some parts will drip down wards and then leave some spots in glazed. Please help!
Me encantan tus videos soy de argentina y me ayudan a aprender ingles ,tambien me ayudan tus tips yo simpre uso porcelana. Graciass❤
Love. May I ask how much shipping would be for an item like that. My shipping always seams to be so high to my customers. Do u use priority mail ?
Omg your cats are hilarious 😂. I feel you on missing your family. Me too. I'm curious, does the cat hair interfere with your art projects?
And those litte ones cats are sou cute
I have some questions dear.
After baking, will they melt in water if i don't use resin? Or will they break if i press them harder ?
How do you glaze the whole piece without it leaving a dent or smudge when you lay it down and handle it?
What type of eye pins do you use for your keychains? I’m trying to find the best way to may keychains with my clay without the eye pins coming off. Any advice?
❤❤❤
Not a subscriber... Binge-watching and enjoying 👍
Do you use glue to stick parts together? If so, which glue?
The blue printer. What is it? Is it the cricket machine? If so, what model?
Hi Tammy! I was just curious, what is happy mail?
I didn't see any clay works for sale on your website. How can they be ordered?
I love you ❤
How long does it take for the glaze to dry?
💕
Hi what is the thing taht you did the clay in at 4:47
The shiny coating is known as "glazing" it's made up of small plastic particles etc which helps in keeping the product (clay in this case) strong and long lasting
I'm v curious, what kinda tape is that you use on your thanks card to attach the stickers?
it’s double sided adhesive tape :) i ❤️ the tombow brand, you can get it on amazon!
hy may i ask, do u use ig ads or fb ads to promote ur products? cus i've been strugglin for that:(
What clay do you use ?
Do you ship to the UK?
Hello, I'm new to your channel, just subscribed. I had a question about your business. How to you pay for postage, shipping?
🥰😍🤩
Are you going to sell the babushka cats? They are so adorable!!
i am making a new version of them that’s more fitting for fall ❤️ :,) will be releasing them soon!
💐💐🙏💐💐🙏

I know you just moved, so would you still have the same address (as you showed in the video) if we want to send you mail? 💛
Yes, my p.o. box is still the same one :,) prior to moving i paid for 3 more months of it haha so I still use it for my business and check on it every now and then!
I need to know the song title at 12:20. Thanks in advance :)
