ua-cam.com/video/dkvTV7xENbU/v-deo.html Hey guys I upload gaming content if you ever what to check out out. Here's the link and thanks for the support !
I went through my he did at Benning as an 11B and he's absolutely right. Show up in bad shape or try to fight the process and your life will be Hell for 13 weeks...
Thanks for making the video. I have one son that went to Ft. Jackson as I did years ago... but My youngest son just arrived at Benning today. God Bless you and thank you for your service.
there not trying to break you. they are pushing yoour limits making you stressed so you know how to deal with yourself during stressful situations it's not breaking you. breaking you means you basically have no confidence anymore
This is Bentley bro, Bravo 2-47 1st platoon WARLORDS!!!... You know you didn't listen to shit either don't lie lol. I would've never thought you would post a video but im happy we made it and good luck with your career. DS Hulse is at 30th now btw and DS Beck wIfe is in a company right next to me cause my AIT is here but she's just like him bro i swear, nothing but smoke sessions. Tell Collins I said whats up.
As a former Infantryman that did basic a Benning, I'm just shocked you have headphones and a recording device!.. Lol, I got smoked for having a pack of peaunts in my locker
Quan 15P aye, but they have other support units there. from what I saw though, down at the PC, they all walk around with their fancy gear they're allowed to buy eating junk food and drinking pop. used to look at us like we were POW's as we marched by, you know, in week 12, I.e. 3rd week of AIT........god bless the Infantry, but god damn OSUT!
How did the package(s) receiving go for you when your family sent on and how long did it take for them to live it to you cause my son is there now in whit faze and i'd like to know if he's getting them cause i haven't gotten a word
STRESS CARDS????😂😪😆😂😭-Unheard of in MY class back in 86',87'...-"Smoke em'if ya got'em."And THEY would SMOKE,a wimps ASS!!! Does anyone recall being yelled at while the Drill used the brim of his hat,to hit you on the bridge of your nose???-Back in 86,87,most of our Drills were Vietnam veterans.AND THEY WERE HARD AS NAILS.Until you made it through.THEY don't want to look bad to battalion, brigade and division hq's.Inter-service rivalry runs deep. From platoons to companies, divisions and on to other branches of military services.I believe every young man should serve for at least, two years. And I personally believe that our nation would turn out a better, more productive citizen.'ESPRIT de CORPS-
I am planning in joining the army once I graduated high school. But here is my issue. I can't even do one sit up. What do I do now. I need to fix this right now. Can someone please tell me why I cant do a sit up.
I was in Army national guard along time ago. I was at Fort Benning in the summer of 1986 for basic training. The summer of 1987 for AIT. It was very hard, but got through it. I thought shooting was hard qualifying. In AIT I was 11C. I thought some of that was hard. I know that it is a lot different now.
Quincy Lockett ROFLMAO! one of your privates said that Shit to our DS, he sneered at the little Rock of the Marne in a pipsqueak prepubescent voices haha haha! wanted to know why you were walking around the PX unescorted.......1/50 E Co
Do you have any idea what the 19k training is like? I leave in May this year I'm going active and I've been trying to find videos over it, but the ones I found and the ones my Sergeant/Recruiter showed me just show what I'll do not what it's like or how I can prepare for it.
The hell they can't put their hands on you. But the more popular method is to smoke the whole platoon and then tell them which recruit is reponsible. That sorry individual usually waits in the baracks to face the wrath of his fellow soldiers. Being mentally broken is not a game. It's a serious attack on your mental stability which can have long term consequences. They've perfected these techniques over decades which typically involve sleep deprivation, physical exhaustion, withering attacks on your personal dignity, threats and occasionally real violence. Recruits are not all given the same treatment, and those singled out for added hostility are usually the ones who crack. It usually has nothing to do with being a "fuck up" and more often it's just a sadistic whim based on personal dislike. The environment is medieval, so expect the worst.
Play the game? Submit to the Training is what I always heard. It was NOT a game when I was serving. Furthermore, zeroing your rifle is one of the most important parts of being an infantryman, but during initial entry training they barely give you time to do this important task. When you are assigned to your first unit you will learn much more. Drill Sergeants can and will hurt you, not physically, but mentally they will fuck you up hard and that will give you strength.
Given the 24/7 dehumanizing treatment, I would think a few recruits would be more than ready to shoot their drill instructor by the time they are handed a rifle. How do they keep that from happening...like Pyle in full metal jacket. I know at Fort Benning they flag suspect recruits and make them wear orange vests to better keep an eye on them.
Breath in your nose, out your mouth, stretch a lot before and after, and hydrate a lot! Sprints help a lot too. Makes you quicker. Start by jogging for 60 secs and sprinting for 30 secs.
JAMES DAVIS 60/120s we did a bunch. 60 seconds of full sprinting, 120 seconds of walking (to bring down your heart rate) it really helps your run time significantly.
You allowed to call when you get to bct saying you love your parents I'm here safe love you something like that but after that u don't call them or see them till graduation
Back in 1981 they were a lot harder then this shit, got off the bus an got physically tossed around for a good 3 hours, before hitting the sack for 30 minutes, it was a blast!!
leaving for basic in july for fort benning, main thing im worried about is the running part i never have been a good runner even when i was playing football for 3 years i never strayed far from O and D line (bigger guy) any tips for what its like from the running part of basic?
I was D line going into basic, the running was rough. You will run everywhere. By about week 4 you should be fine, except company runs. Fuck company runs.
I wasn't a good runner either; had a tough time running a 9 minute mile...which is a requirement to go "down range", but I became a great runner. I fell out of runs at Benning, but when I got to AIT, I was one of the better runners there. I no longer fell out of runs and was in great shape. They will push you hard. Go with a positive mind/attitude that you will succeed. Good luck. You will succeed. Running is painful until you are in shape and good at it. I was a bodybuilder before the military and had big, heavy legs. I was also 27 years old. If I could do it so can you.
To pass out of basic I hear you only have to do 35 push ups, 46 situps and like a 16 and a half minute run. Is that run without gear?? And is that all you need to do to pass.
36 push ups, and its 2 miles. But you also have to do more to pass. So like 12 mile march, eagle tower, gas chamber, nic, and other stuff. You need alot more than the PT test to pass.
I was there in 83 and we had these "Drill Cadets" from West Point. And I seen one grab a recruit by the front of his shirt pick in up off the ground! He broke his chain for his dog tag. The recruits brother was a Captain at that time at Benning! Karma! Lol
Thanks for this video I ship out in may 15th and I don't consider my self very athletic I don't think I can run very well My question If you fail white faze do you re take it or something what happens if you fail anything ig is my question
my fiance will be leaving reception tomorrow morning to go to Fort Benning he is going to be a Calvary Scout.During his AIT training will he be able to go to strip clubs and go off the training area or will he have to remain in the training area and continue to do what he has done for the time he has been there unil family day and graduation?
Who Am I? i was at benning sand hill 11b in oct 1979.alot diffrent than today.you will make your family bigger.do the best you can.all the way sister...

I asked my recruiter if they had cooks and he said they don't have an MOS for cooks.
They might have meant there isn't a slot at that time
best time of my life specially the shark attack throwing our duffle bags thru the pt field

+Christian Gamer I never ever been a runner though I ran a 24:59 2 mile run
+JAMES DAVIS (JAMESCDAVIS) 24 mins.... lol

Don't worry you're gonna be doing 30 60s for PT in the mornings to improve your runs. that really helps decrease your run time
embrace the suck and the god will handle the rest
To pass out of basic I hear you only have to do 35 push ups, 46 situps and like a 16 and a half minute run. Is that run without gear?? And is that all you need to do to pass.

What kind of test do you take after each phase? Is it like written test or some kind of else? I leave for Fort Benning on August 15th.
What did u pass with for your apft and how hard was it to get a slot
I was there in 83 and we had these "Drill Cadets" from West Point. And I seen one grab a recruit by the front of his shirt pick in up off the ground! He broke his chain for his dog tag. The recruits brother was a Captain at that time at Benning! Karma! Lol
