I actually did successfully manage to break this card game once in legitimate play but it was cause most of us were prolonging the game by choosing not to end it so we can keep getting more busted and see how far we could take it. Anyway yeah this card game is fantastic and the videogame is of course amazing as well glad to see you make a video on it!
when you play with every expansion in the game it’s way more likely for a 1 turn win to happen, i’ve been able to win on my first turn before due to the extra characters, monsters, and loot
But what about mom's heart ? I don't have the will to calculate the probability to kill it turn one or what may be the best combo to increase this number. But it may be more likely to have this 2 souls one turn victory.
If I remeber correctly there's a card that let's you gamble for money, one time someone I was playing with got that card plus several others that meant he would always gain back all the money he spent. The thing is there's no limit on how many times you can use that card in one turn so he could basically keep his turn going forever and take all of the money if he wanted. He didn't do that, but every time his turn came around we mentally tuned out for a good 15 minute long turn. It certainly didn't help that this made us realise he seemingly has a gambling problem.
just because you fight monsters and get loot does not make it like munchinkin... Also, munchkin but complicated?? That just means it's not like munchkin dude.
@@dantegallardo1974 you fight monsters for loot and have a certain amount of monsters you need to defeat is literally this and munchkins core game rule set. Anyway my comment wasnt meant as an insult to the game as they already (as presented in the video) fixed the issue that you can win in munchkin as a lvl9 dude fully decked out by smacking a potted plant by only letting some monsters give you a level/soul here.
Even though this is heavily random for any build to be created in 4 Souls. One of the best card negates players from using items/effects on you during your turn. Then you can just use item cards to counter or force rolls on everyone else. Unless they use an Item Card Destroyer effect during their turn. There's also a gold farm build too if you have the right item cards.
I naturally whooped my friend in before he could even get a turn since i got the sun, strength and lost soul so i got 2 souls from my first turn then with my extra turn i played the lost souls and got another soul from killing another boss.
Yo, this is the 1st of ur vids I've seen and it was pretty good. I noticed ur a relatively smaller creator so I did something I rarely do. I liked the vid and subbed. 🤟 I doubt u have any plans on doing a follow up where u do this but with the expansions but I think u should. It'd make a kool vid at the very least.
The general odds of winning on turn 1 is, I would say, above 1% for sure. The sheer amount of scenarios that can stack up, especially considering the two (time eater doesn't count) feasible win condition monsters, all kinds of Eden stuff and many, many more things with loot cards. Approximately half the four souls games end in 2-3 full rounds assuming the player take their chances, and quite a solid amount ends even faster. Straight up killing Mom's heart or all other players for Mega satan (if you're Samson or Goreman, that's just three coinflips with a lot of error margin given by loot and one possible miss). Also bible, alt death and some other cheesy methods can achieve the same result. Killing Dogma turn 1 with sufficient monster slot expansions for any reason has ended a game I've played. Guy spelunky spiraling out of control with something that allows extra attacks like holy portal can easily and reliably win games turn 1 with a little help from a right loot card or item.\ Yung Venuz breaks the game with charged penny and any money-activated item like the crowdfunder, golden razor, etc. Just straight up getting lucky with two souls turn 1 (Chest + lost soul) and killing a mega boss works, albeit it's not a likely scenario Lost is also a funny contender in this due to his ability to innately negate alt death and win by Mega satan. A bit of dice manipulation can cause infinite loops with gambling-related rooms (sometimes even items) All in all, each individual scenario is not particularly likely, but their sheer amount stacks up so much that, from my experience of playing well over a hundred four souls games, turn 1 wins are not a rare sight at all if the players know the game well and take their chances.
miser, portable slot machine, smelter. lets go gambling except good ending. got this turn 1 once against my friends, lets just say i won. incredibly specific? yes. incredibly funny? also yes
sorry but for that one-turn victory to happen I would have to spend my luck budget for at least a year all 365 days the year after that would basically set my good luck to 0 or possibly a negative number which is not good if I like surviving reality which is hard enough sometimes
You made a Four Souls video!? You’ve summoned The Four Souls Guy. I find it a bit odd that you use the V1 cards and even bata cards for the visuals. Also I can confirm most people use the random character card rule. If we could choose our characters people would be fighting for the best characters and games will end up being too similar.
If you see this, I have a question Me and my friend wanna homebrew an incubus race for DND, but we're not sure how to go about it. Could you give us some pointers?
Don't know if it's from an expansion or not, but I managed to get a one turn win with the golden key loot (can fight as many times as you want in a turn) and some very good dice rolls.
Can’t remember the combo, but I actually had a passive damage ability in the video game that was so strong, it killed Delirium instantly, but that instant death caused the game to glitch, making Delirium never to properly spawn in as a boss. I was basically stuck in that room with the face of Delirium constantly spawning/dying and I had to turn off the game. Simultaneously my best and most disappointing run.

the blaineding of issac real
If you have any expansions at all, Mega satan and moms heart makes this waaaaay more likely.

im just gonna see you on any and all four souls content is that it

The problem is that you need to get very lucky multiple times after being super lucky

As someone who's played both, you are very correct.

@@jessehol2721 I am upset because you might be right
it's a snowball game. Once you start winning, it's hard for anyone else to win. Unless the game get's bogged down with everyone dying..
a .000000024 percent chance? I like those odds
Divination Wizard Halflings with the Lucky Feat stay winning
Slightly more often.
