The closest I have come to seeing Emirates A380 👑 in person is when it flies by my house (actually three each day) on its way to John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). Cloudy weather makes it difficult to see them but I can still hear them. My mission is to get to JFK to see them close up.
Such a nice sunrise takeoff! It was monstrous, but not actually ugly, it was beautiful as well. The A380s only on this planet make this contradiction, something that is monstrous and beautiful at the same time!

Every time I see these giants I'm amazed that something that big can fly. It would be truly astonishing to see a zeppelin in flight as well, like an LZ-129 or Akron class airship.

I love Boeing. Boeing doors fly off. Airbus pitot tubes freeze over and shut off the autopilot. Flying doors has more drama.
