+Ignacio de Regoyos Now they need to make a large army of human spellswords.
I see them as a mix of the worst parts of Britain and America
The egoistical parts and ‘nobel Superiority’ of Britain
With the ‘world police’ mentality of some American politicians
The elves seem most likely to be added in the upcoming expansion (2 confirmed, for a total of 3 games, much like dawn of war 2). I think a total of 6-7 races seems likely, as that's what DoW II did. Elves will likely have wood elves, high elves and dark elves as subfactions.
well on the whole "you'd be just as equally hard pressed to find a high elf willing to admit this fact" thing you'd be even more hard pressed just to find the fucking high elf let alone get him to admit something positive about a dwarf
Praying the high elves will be in warhammer total war in one form or another XD
the high elves are the best. they have the most interesting lore, we need more high elf novels
allowed into one whole city.... how generous.
Jimmy De'Souza so are the elf's so they can't exactly be self rightchess
Jimmy De'Souza half of there race joined the cult of slanesh and became dark elves proptinatly its the same equivalent
Jimmy De'Souza well half of there race at the time well what I mean is you know after they converted and killed a large part of the elf people it was about half
pirate pirate pirate pirate, pirate, pirate OK, I'm done now
+Víctor Valero Pirate.
I want to thank you. I sometimes have insomnia and your videos help me fall asleep on those nights =)
All kidding aside. I enjoy the insightful information and your deliberate method of delivery. You do a better job of telling the story of the races of Warhammer than GW does.
PS - I also cannot stand End Times. May it burn in a heap.
Love these videos!
Arch I really need to ask, why do you hate the end times so much? With "age of Sigmar" coming out will you even continue the game?
Jack Beaver age of Sigmar is going to have to do something pretty god damn amazing for me to continue with fantasy tabeltop,
Arch Warhammer As someone who dropped a ton of money on an undead army to get back into it I sort of have to. Have you read the post on warhammer.org.uk where this guy had 2 hours with the fluf book and writes about what the nerw world is like?
+Arch Warhammer It did something alright!
Arch Warhammer in the words of Yahtzee "age of sigmarines would have to escape from a sodding ubliet and commence a blowjob marathon that makes my feet recede into my legs to impress me"
FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!!!
and that rule you mentioned is not in the newest rule book before the end time and age of sigmar
even in warhammer elves and dwarfs hate each other,i wonder why.
+Bernard Rednix The elves attacked the dawrfs because they, more or less, wanted to fight them. And the Dwarfs don't forget a grudge.
+Tuedon shouldn't of debearded a dwarf lol
+The Drama Llama
Indeed.That was a colossal mistake.
+Sidar Erdem
And that's what they did. They killed the elf kind and took his crown. That's one way to deal with it I guess.
They were originally good friends, then a civil war between the elves and a poor decision made them bitter enemies. It’s actually sad because they were such good friends the dwarves actually were originally willing to hear them out and let them explain, something they rarely ever do when it comes to grudges.
Dwarves: my crown now
Arch you're soo funny dude great job on the vids can't stop laughing
4:30 that statement you made horrifies me.
Arch Warhammer hey arch can you give me a link to the video how you compare the usa to high elves
Can we all just agree that the end times are not cannon in the war hammer game you can create your own time line that’s what I do
It's no longer Friday, where's my video Arch?
the high elves bureaucracy is hilarious
*went off to beat off the demon horde*
what is the end times, is it some revision of the lore, and why it so bad?
+dqwers for what I've heard it's the latest part of the lore released, everybody (espacially arch) hates it because it fucks everything up (killing everybody) instead of developing and improving
it is hated mainly because it destroys all the factions, places, things, etc. And puts space marines in the place.
Hey arch, I wonder since CA have announced the last roman DLC do you think that the expedition mechanic from Attila would work for high elves? or Dark Elves?
I like high elfs a lot, and I hate the other elfs
I'm intrigued by the derivation of your name, Arch. Perhaps the rarely used adjective, as the curved masonry construction seems a bit prosaic.
arch
/ɑːtʃ/
adjective
1.
(prenominal) chief; principal; leading: his arch rival
2.
(prenominal) very experienced; expert: an arch criminal
3.
knowing or superior
4.
playfully or affectedly roguish or mischievous
I'm guessing mostly 2 (in matter of Warhammer, at least) with a smattering of 3 and 4.
Anyway, good work on the Warhammer lore videos.
I had finally just started collecting for Warhammer fantasy and started my high elven army. if there's any pieces I should get that is a necessity or a good leverage to most armies. comments would be most appreciated!
Do you think that Chaos Dwarves will appear in anyway?
So, many, names.
I was amused by the narrator. He is easy to listen to.
arch hate to do this but the phoenix king and the everqueen is the oldest daughter and then becomes the next everqueen when the previous everqueen dies so it is hereditary and that is what the year long marriage is for miner point
"And the Kothari are the gods of, you know, horrible war, torture, rape; that kind of stuff. Because of course the elves of a god of rape because you know, why the hell not?"
I literally lost it!
Why don't you do a video on the Eldar???
Hey the Belshanar thing you said reminds me of the Biblical story of Daniel, which is about a king called Bellshazzar I think
Duke of Italy They were certainly inspired by Babylonian names. Bel means "lord" or "master" which is pretty appropriate for a king.
Never mind you explain it at the end
I noticed you pronounced the Ulthuan provinces differently. I personally pronounce Cothique with a long "o" and like unique. For Yvresse, I say eve-reese (like peace) out of personal preference😃 Also I noticed that a lot of people, not just you, call Lothern "Lothren". Not being critical, I just think it's interesting. There is no definitive right way to pronounce any of the provinces except for maybe Eataine.
Have you heard of the High Elves?
I think Ulthuan is more like Australia then an island, a little continent.
Even demz corpses are too prettey!
it could be possible the khorne and the other chaos gods added to the design of the elven gods
Ah baby arch sounds adorable
Arch, I declare your least coherent ramblings are better if not more melodic than most of Cicero's stylings.
