There is only one OEM manifold for this engine. You'd need to make a custom manifold for alternative fuelling options. Check out Larry Ligas' Daimler Dart with four downdraught Webers.

i had a 1968 mk 2 daimler v8 = just loved it and played mechanic with it and always a great sound and a real fast car !

Were the pistons the same as a certain old brand motorbike piston?
I think every car should have an SU.
