Delightful Daimler V8 250

Many thanks to the owner Norman who let us look around his Delightful Daimler which was on display at the Thirlestane Classic Car show near Edinburgh.The Daimler 2.5 V8 is a four door saloon based on the Jaguar Mark 2 platform. The Daimler V8 engine was first used in the Daimler SP250 sports car (Daimler Dart). In the sixties the Jaguar Mark 2 was popular with bank robbers who wanted a fast get away car, however the Daimler V8 was more likely to be driven by the bank manager because of it's refined quality
