And if there is a chance to go to the South again I'd like to recommend Cheow Lan Dam. You will be amazed by the amazing nature, crystal clear freshwater sea, turquoise water, resting on floating rafts. Plus more amazing activities for 1-2 nights. Hua Hin has always been a great vacation place for whole member of family both Thai and foreigners. A lot of cars come to Hua Hin every Saturday no matter what season is. The current trend is about work/life balance and Hua Hin is one of the answers of LIFE balance of Bangkok metro people. And last Saturday I also stayed at Cha-Am/Hua Hin beach too, I always enjoyed at this place as same as you ^^

Yes Grab is available. You can get a bus from Bangkok really cheap as well from Sombat Tours near Chatuchak 🙂
