      @loelds4817 That’s fine if the company stays in their country... however, if we're being completely honest, shade range is a problem even with Koreans in Korea.
      That said... if a company goes international/global? It makes zero financial sense to just have a few pale shades.

    Tirtir got criticized for their shade range and then responded by going darker than a good chunk of American brands. Absolutely incredible. And when Darcei (one of the more popular creators who tried their foundation when it only had light tones) came to visit, they treated her so nicely and even gave her gifts. Titir is a brand that deserves support for showing that they care. I hope they can make more shades in the darker range in the future but this is an excellent start

      Saaaame! :D Everyone is talking about dark shades, and I get it, the options for dark skin are ridiculous. But finding makeup that doesn't look orange on pale-pale skin, even with a 'cold/pink' undertone, is almost impossible. I tried multiple Korean foundations and even the lightest shades are orange.

    Tirtir cushion foundations dont oxidize you just need to apply it correctly by putting the foundation on the middle of the cushion to make it apply evenly then on the other side of the packaging there is a sponge like thing and that is where you have to remove the excess product on the cushion, after you do that the you can apply the foundation on your face in thin laters from the inside outwards. Most korean stylists use this method to get a more natural look

      You have to hydrate your skin and then apply small amounts in thin layers to look natural. And I hope you're using oil cleanser as part of the triple cleanse. Koreans use oil cleanser before regular face cleanser to effectively remove makeup.

    I’m happy that they’re taking these first steps but there’s still A LOT of improvements to be made.
    I bought their testers, the ones that come in sachets. It’s because I wanted to make sure I don’t waste money and buy the wrong shade. I’m in the more light medium range. Other cushions I’ve tried had me between 23N to 27N, but TirTir’s 29N was even too light for me. And swatching 23N 24N 24W 25N and 29N on my face, all of them are so similar and still so light that you would mistake them as pretty much the same shade. Yes, there is a growing range but there is still room for improvement within that range.
    At least they’re trying and hopefully they’re expanding the range with the intention of catering to more people. In the beauty industry, there are brands who have a wide range of shades but those shades are such non-skin shades that it’s ridiculous. I hope Tirtir stays true to their principles and expands their range with good intentions.
    Clearly, they are hoping to be a more internationally known brand instead of solely competing with Korean brands that already have their foot planted as the go-to brands domestically.

  • @KawaiiKermit
    @KawaiiKermit 2 місяці тому +14

    The shade range is still bad. They have a big jump from the darkest to the mid tones so the people in between don’t have a shade. The undertones are awful too, only 2 cool undertones for mid range shades and all the undertones oxidise to be darker and warmer so rip to us neutral/cool tones melanated peeps. Even people who have tried lighter shades have found that they were straight up yellow on their skin. The undertones are a mess with this foundation and the gap from medium to dark is HUGE, none of the dark shades even matched the model on their advert for swatches so tirtir has a lot to do to fix their product. Many people even suggest the darker shades seem rushed which I agree with because if they were thinking of dark skinned people, they’d have the right undertones and have fewer shades but a diverse range that fit deep skin tones, not just 2-3 super dark shades. This is just an Asian company thinking of darker complexions and going “super dark because that’s what all darker complexions look like”
