That panicked look at the camera at ~3:11 😂 "Pray, Lord, I turned that camera on because I am absolutely shredding this block of cheese." Bob, in case one day you forget, you're beyond an inspiration to a lot of us young guns. Keep on picking, and please keep putting out these porch session videos...
Best version of Salt Creek I have ever heard. I've played it a hundred times, in the car, at work, at home.. along with Blackberry and Red Haired Boy, others. Your command of the fretboard is fascinating, sir. I cannot get enough.
@@missouriboy66 Thank you and will be patiently keeping an eye out! I'm not nearly familiar enough with a baritone guitar, it's tunings, etc but it's sure making it difficult to steal (I mean borrow) little pieces of this playing it out of A on a standard guitar : ) At first I was thinking you were just playing in dropped D, then I started thinking open G but some of the chords and sounds look like standard tuning shapes. I'm at a loss. All I know is it sounds amazing!
This variation is a wonderful journey that doesn't lose sight of the creek. Thanks Bob.
I like how the thumb is used on bass notes, some crisp picking there. Hoo yah!
Brilliant!
