The main advantage that I see is that you have better access to the trunk vs a high wing that is so hard to lean over and retrieve anything.

Looks great. Its hillarious that GM put the camera near the cabin so its just as blocked as your eyes, lol. Sports car cameras are usually near the bottom of the licence plate so you can see the bumper vs the curb, poles, children...

Justin, like you I ordered these almost immediately after Joseph did the ACS install video. Very easy install and great looks! You’re so right on quality, design, fit and form. I wasn’t sold on the high wing and wanted a little more from the Z51 spoiler.
I spent more time removing the ceramic coating where the tape had to stick than the entire install process. Hope to get my winglet -less side skirts on this week.

I’ve seen these on another C8 channel and I think I like em but I gotta see em in person. They definitely look better than the high wing spoiler.
The install does require drilling and rivets. I didn't show it because ACS already did a good job of showing it on theirs.

Probably, but I doubt it will be noticable.
I doubt you will feel it at 75 I have the Z07 track pack on mine and u really don't feel a difference till@ 125

Looks super! I thought I heard you say you pre-drilled your holes but then you pulled the tape before you put the rivets in as alignment pens like the ACS video showed.
I'll bet if they would have put on another wide strip of VHB tape and then the rivets wouldn't be needed. That stuff is tough.
It is very tough. It COULD be ok but I don't want to be the guy that finds out the hard way the rivets are needed

Trust me Go with the rivets you won't believe what the hot sun does to that 3m double sided tape... Gooey sticky and will stretch and BAM!! It will fly off doing a 100mph

It does look nice, but what is the added downforce? With that said, i think dive planes on the front will look good and add real track performance.

You do realize with the spoiler tilted more upwards you will get more downforce for initial acceleration but you will lose some top end speed?

I am about to order my C8. In your opinion is the Z51 package necessary? I am thinking about saving the money and just ordering the mag ride lift kit and exhaust option. Using the savings for other things.
In my opinion, yes, it's necessary. With that said, if you don't plan on tracking the car or spiritedly driving on some curvy roads often then maybe it's not needed.
