@ I agree. I’m really hoping you guys have kept it original as much as possible. Really love these trucks for their simplicity, their style and the balls they have. My father had one for 20 years. Never let us down! 😎👍🏻👍🏻
If it’s not too much to ask, i would to see how this truck is coming along. Any new pictures or videos? If it’s ever for sale, I’d love a shot a making an offer 👍🏻
Everytime I here the song during the first time lapse I think of Puddins fab shop. 😂 this video is awesome tho. Love them 73s. Best looking front ends on square bodies
Fortunately/Unfortunately (however you look at it) you tube provides creators with royalty free music, so you'll hear the same song often on UA-camr videos. I do plan to record some more of my own music in the future to counter act this maybe lol. Thanks for checking it out, Jess' truck is pretty sweet I agree. 73's are a great year!
1973 was the first year for those generation Chevrolet & GMC fullsize pickups, SUVs, & medium duty series models. They were produced up through 1991 except for the plain cab pickups & medium duty series models. In 1987, the half ton & three quarter ton plain cab pickups were finished, but the one ton plain cab pickups & medium duty series models on the other hand were still in production up through 1989.
@@RacerXGarage yep a total of 19 years those generation Chevrolet & GMC fullsize pickups & SUVs were in production wow. A nick name for them is the square bodies. In 1987, the C/K series were dropped & renamed R/V series & the reason for the change was to make a distinction between the square body models & upcoming next generation C/K series pickups which were the OBSs for the 1988 model year because both of those body designs were gonna be in production at the same time which lasted up through 1991. 1987 was also the first year for gasoline fuel injected motors.
awesome! This is the exact year and one of the colors im looking for. Just subscribed. Trying to get my channel off the ground, take a look if you get time! building a 57 chevy pickup right now. about to get a c10 and about to rescue a 79 ford from the woods.
I love them old straight 6s I had one and man love them.
I had one in a 66 Chevelle wagon, only had to put a distributor in it, but once we did it ran like a top!

@@RacerXGarage it’s not a bad song and have used the free songs as well. Just reminds me of his cuz he uses it as his opening.

Its crazy that they made essentially the same truck for 16 years

Hell yeah on the 250 content!
Great little motors. So incredibly easy to work on!
Would love to see some followup on this video. Did your buddy ever do anything else to it?
Ohhh man.... He's got it back apart, can't remember why, but I'll see if we cant figure out a day to go check it out
I have the *exact* same truck, only difference is it’s a stepside. Same Shrek color and everything. Would love to see anything he does with his.
Your vids are just simply really cool😎🤠
Appreciate it!

haha its a stock setup with a bad donut gasket at the manifold. It doesn't sound great in person, but should be easy to fix
It's very cool.

Thanks for the sub! You got some pretty cool projects!
@@RacerXGarage thank you!!
why do people do that? bought sight unseen shit? its not very smart.
i mean it dont look bad for sure worth fixing up but im talking trust part
plus save the three on the tree seems like they are harder to find its a dying art most people cant drive any standard
Its a gamble, but sometimes it pays off. In this instance it was definitely a win!
