Hi there - Enjoying your podcasts 😊. With reference to your lovely Zakami yarn and the Vovo yarn you intend to use it with, have you thought about the Lento Sweater (from Laine Magazine and available to by separately from Ravelry)? It’s knitted on a slightly larger needle so you shouldn’t need to worry about running out of yarn -and even though it’s knitted on a larger needle size, if you’re using a fluffy yarn as one of the two threads, the garment shouldn’t look ‘gappy’ (at least mine doesn’t!) There are lots of lovely examples on Ravelry. Anyway, looking forward to more videos from you and seeing what you decide to do with the Zakami yarn. Best wishes, Susie 🙋♀️
@@Susimakes thank you for your lovely comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the episode 😊 I have actually made 2 Lentos already, one to keep and one as a gift. It's such a nice pattern! While I am tempted to make a 3rd, I'm still toying with a few other options before I decide 🤔
Try the flax or flaxlight by tincanknits, option short rows, free pattern, i use the flaxlight pattern so often, making it oversized, longer, whatever i want, it's top down too!
@@karenrobinson4812 The flax is such a great pattern, I made one years ago but didn't put in short rows which wasn't a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion 😊
For the gray sweater you're not crazy about, what about embellishing with embroidery or duplicate stitches. Isabell Kraemer has a pattern I was thinkiing of: B(l)ack to Life
@@claireknitsnyc Thanks for your suggestion 😊 Funnily enough, I did consider embroidering daisies onto it but I tried out a few techniques and couldn't settle on anything. I think I have my heart set on unravelling it now 😅
