False. The V10’s from the early 2000’s were making 950 horsepower, at the most. Had the V10’s had slick’s, they would’ve been the fastest of all time. F1 in the 90’s were not more powerful either. Engines then were pushing out 700-800 horsepower. Today’s cars make 1000 horsepower with great efficiency and reliability.
