What happens if you click in the rubberised metal parts without first checking their numbers… asking for a friend! How do you remove them?

Hello. Below is a link to the fit kit instructions that show the metal bracket part numbers. It is easy to remove the bracket from the foot by pushing up and inward on the lower part of the bracket, with the bracket removed the numbers can be verified against the instructions:
