It’s a completely different economy than when Dave worked a 9-5. We just want the payout to be worth it again and to not be treated the way Dave just exemplified. All that’s being asked for from Dave is a little empathy.

I agree with Dave is saying, you have to grind before you reep the benefits. But I do want to point out that so many people work hard and they won’t ever get what their worth. There’s plenty of people working multiple jobs and won’t ever be able to buy a house. However there is such a thing as working your way up and you just have to see the light at the end of the tunnel
I do hair I’ve been working 60 hour weeks all year I’m 23 and raised to work for what I have and find fullfilment and pride in the empire I’ve built. Hair is a competitive career as well as being an influencer. Not everyone get a chance like they have. Stop being bitter and work for what you have. Growing up below the poverty line and still having a mother that gives us anything we’ve wanted. Bc she worked her tail off. No one can judge another’s job. Everyone’s life’s different. Social media ruins ppl and families. I’d never want to have the pressure of the public eye. Yeah PR boxes are cool but it’s exhausting.

As a 21 year old that was driving to my 9 to 5 job that I’ve had for almost a year and a half I can say that life is hard. But, to get something you have to give something and that’s what the 9 to 5 job with a crappy commute is. Not everyone has the access to college or a good family or even a support system. Sometimes you have to suck it up and get the job done to have a decent future.
