Given how long the railroad beyond the tourist operation and shops complex has been left to rot what they are doing is rebuilding more than repairing. It’s very exciting! Videos coming up in a few months will show progress on track rehabilitation on the far south end of the line around Robertsdale, as well as rebuilding an important landmark in the Rockhill yard.
Can't wait for all of the line to be rebuilt, and upgraded so that when the EBTs steam locomotives are done, they can run on these amazing new locations. I heard as a part of the Southern part of the line, there's a tunnel AND a Horseshoe curve, plus, a very steep grade! Seeing steam on it would be amazing!
