Love the aftermarket screws. Didn’t trust oem Ibanez? (Rich @ Ibanez rules always has spares) Question for you ..Every s series I’ve had with the ZR trem. I CANNOT get the action where I want. The trem will not go low enough. So I shim the neck. It works but sometimes I’m using a 1/16 shim on the pickup end. Did your new screws allow you to get the trem down low enough? Hi Eric! Yes, it was a matter of trust with the screws, I heard the original are prone to stripping. I also like the flat head screwdriver screws, that method is sturdier than the thin hex key IMO. Shimming the neck is one way of getting the action tolerable, I have used it with some guitars also. I no longer have that guitar, I remember that I didn´t have any issues with the trem height. Can you fit an edge zero trem for replacement?
I don't know. If you carefully measure the post holes, do they line up with Edge and possibly re-drill larger post holes you could...
