Love this video! I was born and raised in Massachusetts and am familiar with everything you talked about. We moved out of the area when the kids were little but not before we took them to Storyland and Santa's Village a bunch of times. We all LOVED those theme parks!! And I also went to college in New Hampshire--what a great place! We haven't lived in New England for over 20 years now so this video took me back with some great memories. Thank you so much!

Hi, great video. Question, why do you recommend people work on same state they live at? I live in Massachusetts and I’m contemplating on moving to NH, but to continue working in Mass. I have friends who are settled this way and tell me that people who live in NH and work in MA are not taxed twice on their income tax as an example. Is this true? thanks in advance!

So, in terms of taxes, it depends what you do. If you are 1099 but work mainly in Massachusetts, you will still have to pay mass income tax. If you are able to work and live in NH as a 1099, you get that benefit of no state income. This is primarily a self-employment type of conundrum.
