I feel you on the heat. This time of year our cooler temps in Texas start reaching 32 c and won't decrease until close to October.
I ALWAYS get a cold when the weather turns hot and when it turns cold. Always. So, I feel for you.

Only thing that scares me is the hydrogen tanks… Ik for sure ima crash that shit and blow up my base lol. I’ve already done that twice in my survival. I have trouble building ships cuz I have to make it idiot proof

i can either start with components, cargo, tanks, thrusters ect. and then design the hull around it.
or
i make the hull design and fill in after whats needed, which i use mostly tbh.

Been thinking about this, maybe a slower build 'guide' would help new players, what do you think?
@@LunarKolony I think the one problem, for me anyway. I’m playing on PS. And I can’t place a row of ten blocks instantly. It’s counting how many rows of blocks in a line that’s difficult. For example, if you said “I placed 8 blocks in this line”, it would have been easier. Other than that, it’s not hard to keep up if I slow the video playback down.

Now this is what I've been looking for. My station is smack between some excellent asteroids, but a little far for just a mining ship to make reliably to the uranium asteroid.
Been a huge fan of your designs, been trying to learn from all the live builds you've done as I personally, suck at designing with interior in mind.

@@LunarKolony I've tried to do that, but all my designs up looking good outside albeit very smooth without the added grible later on but when i start on the interior, the whole design gets warped. HaHa.
Experienced the same heat yesterday while on SE for a good amount of time. Honestly surprised that I survived the session without melting

Last night (Saturday night) I thought I have had to get to the vet because one of the dogs had a seizure and since it has been so incredibly hot for the past week the biggest suspicion was dehydration and we tried with fluid replacement since then she has gotten better and today she is much happier and plays with everyone else, but it wasn't far from the fact that I had thrown myself in the car and driven 1.5 hours to the nearest vet.

@@LunarKolony Yes, she seems to feel much better than she did yesterday and no, Sweden, but it is still unusually hot in Scandinavia because several areas in both Sweden and Norway have fire bans until further notice.
I haven't heard how it is in Denmark, but I can imagine that there is a fire ban there too.
I enjoy watching you build. I don't understand how you can build something that quick, though. It's taken me weeks, and 24 iterations, to get one ship built. 😅 I started on the outside and worked my way in, so I had to cram a bunch of stuff in to get it working. Then I went back and cleaned everything up, smoothed things out, etc. Granted, I did get distracted by a quick mining ship for a few hours, but hours and hours went into my main ship. I even drew it out on paper before I bought the game on PS5. I'm still not sure I'm completely done with it.
If you set yourself a challenge to build a ship in a certain period of time e.g. 1 hour, you'll be surprised how quick you can build!
I've tried that after watching you do it so often, didn't work out well. Haha! I'm sure it'll come more naturally after I've had more time with the game.

Refinery on the left is not hooked in, its cause its not symmetrical, its just that block being a pain in the arse.

Liking the look, and it can be a starter ship with a jumpdrive, just leave a space for where the jumpdrive is going to go and install on tuesday. Also does your aircon have a filter that may need a clean?

I am kinda the function over form, the details come after I set the base for the operational function before I actually design stuff, and I like to think, realistically, a cube would be on the market for many companies as simple is often more appealing than overly complicated

i never quiet get the ratios right, and my ideas get in the way of my goals all the time, any idea how to make yourself focus on what you want while creating the shapes? for example yesterday i spent like 6 hours just to get a small ore scout vessel out, and than i ended up with a luxery cruiser type of privat vehicle wich is in no relation of use for a starter survival type environment

@@LunarKolony I just setup a solar panel using tube conveyors and armored conveyors for mounting solar panels on the top half and oxygen farms for the bottom half. I've got six farms and they barely keep me set up
@@LunarKolony just getting started in a new world on the moon with the assertive mod. Got lucky not 2 hours in a pirate private ship flew right above me. I got all the engines and solar panels before gnats blew it up
