Both Hawk and Animal seemed like really cool guys.... RIP Legion of Doom, I got into wrestling after their run, but I will say they’re still one of the most iconic tag teams in the business.
Wwwwhhhhhhhhaaaaaaatttttttt A Rush. RIP to both Michael ‘Hawk’ Hegstrand.and Joseph ‘Animal’ Laurinaitis. The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom. One of the greatest Tag Teams Ever!! 👍
It seems like Animal was more concerned with making $$ just by the things he said here but to be fair Hawk was more concerned with Drug's. Road Warriors are my #1 tag team of all time, every Saturday watching NWA on wrbs as a kid i would get so excited when they hit the ring!
I know right! Interviewer was expecting maybe a heartfelt answer and all he can say is Hawk's death ruined his top dollar. How very Christian of him eh! Definitely don't get the feeling they were really close, sounds like it was all business.
Hawk held Animal back with his drug issues for decades. He lost Animal many opportunities. Listen to Animal talk about how Hawk fucked up their WCW deal. Animal finished the WWF run by himself. Hawk was a piece of shit. Joe is in Heaven right now Hawk is in Hell getting raped by the Devil, fuck y'all haters... bundle of sticks smh
Not sure when this video was made, but Animal looked great for his age. I remember watching these guys when I was a kid. I'm always surprised to hear when wrestlers die young, the whole lifestyle must really take its toll.
So sad that they've both now passed. You know we all moan that wrestlings boring today compared with the attitude era but if the truth be known that era & the era leading upto it has taken a lot of wrestlers lives far too early. Yes I agree wrestling is too stale these days but let's never return to the days when as Jake the Snake said "drugs were a necessacity". Thank you for the memories RIP Road Warriors 👍🧡
Loved the LOD but when I asked him years back, why doesn’t he do any Christian events anymore,( to see what he says now that hawk can’t accompany him anymore), said “ I got many wrestling conventions and meet and greets”. Now I’m all for the money to feed the family but putting in the time for your faith and ignoring the money just once won’t hurt him, but I guess one now knows where his priorities lie.
Do you should let your children starve if it interferes with you reciting praises and singing songs into the ether to an invisible entity…..If God is real then I think he’d smite the shit outta somebody putting him in front of anither humans well-being.
I think also the steroids affected his heart. You watch the Vice documentary and see Mike's brothers and they are small guys, Mike was juiced to the gills
But Hawk was not a small guy. He was 6"3. Everything played a role. Just like with all the other wrestler deaths. You can only put your body through so much. It just goes to show you how tough these guys were. A regular person wouldn't last a year living the way they did.
Interviewer was expecting maybe a heartfelt answer to how Hawk's death affected him and the first thing he says is Hawk's death ruined his top dollar. How very Christian of him eh! Definitely don't get the feeling they were really close or brotherly, sounds like it was all business.
“How hard was his passing on you?” “It ruined my ability to make top dollar in this business.” How was that the first place his mind went to? The money? Not the fact that he lost what was supposedly his best friend?
Obviously Animal didn't have a lot of respect for Hawk because if he did his reply wouldn't of been "it ruined my top dollar ect ect" Nothing else to say here, RIP to both Animal & Hawk.

Now they both passed. R i.p the road warriors
I know

Thank you Joe and Mike for all the memories
RIP Hawk and Animal....
The best ❤️

Not making money but expanding their careers to make more money.
Sickening.

Mike Hegstrand aka Hawk 1957-2003 and Joe Laurinaitis aka Animal 1960-2020 RIP.

I loved the road warriors. Really good wrestlers.
This made me genuinely sad.
These were the very best tag team partners ever
The very best
We are defined by the choices that we make and oftentimes, we just can't take back the bad ones.
Let's look at their arrivals which was brighter January 26,1957 and September 12, 1960 easily one of or the greatest tag team.

Now they’re together, and damn WhatARushhhhhhh to think about it. RIP Hawk (Mike) and Animal (Joe). THE ROAD WARRIORS.
FOREVER

Juice, alcohol, cocaine, painkillers, and sedatives. It's definitely bad for the heart
Whaaat aaaaa RUSH!!!!
Hawk an Animal........the greatest of all time..
Rest in peace Animal and Hawk now you guys can use the doomsday on Satan and let's see if he can get out of it
Great channel
Two awesome guys...
It's nice to know I'll see the LOD in heaven one day ☝️

We were both super Christians.
Well, number one I couldn't make as much money anymore.
Sounds about right.
Favorite tag team of all time
Now we lost them both
Kind of surprised at how dismissive Animal was here but maybe he doesn't like talking about it.
Yeah, his body language seem to suggest that. Was surprised money came up as much as it did, but I think Joe truly did love the guy..
Good lord, 188 resting pulse. Geez. Mine is 63.
Feinstein with the always creepy interview “skills.”
Just wondering aloud here, when he said Jake, was he referring to Jake Roberts?
Yeah it was. In prévious interviews Animal said it.
“How hard was his passing on you?”
“It ruined my ability to make top dollar in this business.”
How was that the first place his mind went to? The money? Not the fact that he lost what was supposedly his best friend?
I think that so much happened between them, that it left no space for deep feelings.
Also no mention of the roids they both were pumped up on for decades. The guy was 46 when he died. Then what does animal die of? A heart attack.
that struck me as heartless.
@@harrybaulesI agree 👍🏿
@@mxyzptlk3825spot on, probably never got over Hawk walking out on him and the WWF in 1992
Hi matthew 😅😅
What year was this interview done?
1969
Yer mom😂
This dude only cared about the money, RIP to both but that was a wild response…
What’s wrong with that it’s a business
i think animal could have been great in singles competition even they changed the character
Cash is King
Kinda messed up his first answer was it hurt his wallet
what u expect from a racist piece of shit
😢
Obviously Animal didn't have a lot of respect for Hawk because if he did his reply wouldn't of been "it ruined my top dollar ect ect"
Nothing else to say here, RIP to both Animal & Hawk.
