@@prasannakumar4946 That's very individual and back and forth, I had some limpfree days after 8 weeks or so I think, but then started limping, then back to normal, then limping again. If the bone healed straight the limping has more to do with training the muscles and working on it and everyone does it in their own way and their own speed. If you work hard 8-14 weeks could do. I broke both my bones too and I had the same surgery and was told not to put any weight on my leg at all..... 😫 been out of work for a month and a half and get to find out tomorrow how much longer it'll be before I'm allowed to start physical therapy and go back to work.
Update: My bones have barely healed. So I have to wait another 2 weeks before they check again to see if I can bare weight yet or not. And they took me out of my boot and put me in another cast.
Oh man I'm hoping to start walking on Tuesday :( but I have fears that they will tell me I still can't weight bare. I'm so sick of not being able to walk lol
Muscles that are not used at all becomes smaller quite fast. Will grow quite fast again when you start using it daily, so try to do that as soon as doctors say that it is ok.
adil Khan I’m it sure if the pain is normal but it might be, but when I broke my forearm I had a cast that went up past my elbow. When I went to bent my elbow my arm feel weak and felt like it would pop. Not sure if that’s what you’re feeling but ask your orthopedic doctor.
If you can, use crutches or Walker. Eventually cane. Try to keep the leg moving, don't apply too much weight. But use it as much as comfortable. It easy sucks man, just gotta be strong. You will get better. Takes time. I was walking workout any help in about 4 months. 6 months I felt very strong, back to work. Now, 18 months later, I'm getting hardware removed 🤗. I'll have my leg back the way it was 👍👍
Gangrene, Blood Clots, Swelling, Infections, anything can set in after or during. I'm afraid for my life. I dont want to go thru this!🥺😥🙏. Dont believe I'll get the best care.🧐🤔🤔😥😥

I had a fracture on my right femur. Done surgery on it, I am now walking with walking stick to support myself. My question is this " if I have sex will it affect my bone healing?
I am so truly afraid that this may happen to me come September 18th. That I may need surgery 😯 Also I may not have the same care because........ I'm crying right now😥😪🥺🤧

Broke my tib and fib playing football (soccer) in January this year. Hoping to run 5 miles end of April! We'll see.

I didn't make the 5 mile run. But I am much better. I can run 0.5 mile but after that I look a bit special and its rapidly improving now.
Did you manage to run it? I broke my femur some months ago and getting back to skateboarding now. Feeling blessed! :)
