I’ve been saying this crazy how Ford and Chevy are taking customers, Corvette is going flat plane crank and Hybrid and Ford just tuned the V8 for the best possible emissions standards. But Dodge did do something amazing with the hellcats and demons and Vipers I’ll always appreciate Dodge for those.

The front is ugly. Love the rear design though. I hope this is not official yet. That face need a face lift, it looks pudgy.
Only thing I don't like is the lack of black panel on the rear lights. Also not sure how I feel about the huge screen in the interior.
Would still buy if I had the money tho. 🤣

This car is only the "standard" GT version, the Dark Horse has different grills and wings.
Owned a camaro 1LE since 2015. I think I may be trading it in for this new mustang. Definitely looks like a fusion of camaro and mustang. I Like it!
Maybe get a 6th gen ss 1le, and that would change your mind. Plus all camaros with v8's are going to appreciate hella soon. Mustangs are way too common, especially this new gen since it's basically the last "muscle" (pony) car, everyone and their mom is going to have one.
@@Toymonkeyjr yeah, that's what they said in the last half of the 60s. Everybody has a Mustang, they're too common, better to get a Camaro. I'm not knocking the 67-69 Camaro, great cars and great investments, but today the 65-69 Mustang fastbacks are the most sought after Mustangs even though they were so common then. I have the feeling the S550 and now S650 platforms will be the most coveted Mustangs in the future, especially if they stop making them. Get them now while prices are still relatively low. I have a 2018 GT 6 speed with mods and customization that I plan on one day passing down to my kids when I die. I may get a new one too. These are valuable future classics, trust me on this.

Idk man there is something in the camaro I always liked and this new Mustang has it. You can just tell by the looks of it. The more I look at it, the more its growing on me. If it wasn’t for the new tech, and interior, I’d keep my camaro but, Lets see how pricing from the dealers before deciding 100%.

the all new Mustang S650 came out great, a nice evolution of the timeless and sleek sporty predecessor S550, which was among the best selling vehicles for a reason! they enhanced, sharpened and built on the lines of the predecessor quite nicely.
also great to see that the fantastic coyote 5.0 has been enhanced as well and powers on.
pressure is definitely on Chevrolet with the Camaro 7, what will they be doing to follow this up, and Dodge as well, yes the EV Charger looks great, but it would be great to get "heritage" models of a new Challenger and long rumored Cuda with traditional HEMI power.
either way, for now, well done Ford, you have done great, superb !

Is it me, or does the front end look a bit like a cammaro? Maybe the headlights are what has me not feeling the front end. I think the 2022 Shelby front end and lights are much nicer.

Forward knew what the hell they were doing. I own a 2019. When I first saw the 2024 I said oh I don't know. But as the days have gone on I love it. It grew on me real fast. And the interior with the technology in there oh my God what more can you ask for who needs a BMW. Good job for it people will be lining up to try to get this one. But you might have to clean out your whole bank account.

I tend to be partial to the lines on the S550 as I own a base GT with the 10A. But I honestly feel that they shouldn't have taken the hard body lines out of the sides of the car. Other than that it sounds mean and nasty and like it's got a good 500+ HP. But I love mine and it's fast AF and I can't go over 155 in it so......
I agree with you, it needs those hard body lines on the quarters.

That looks way nicer than the reveal pictures, the GT now kinda looks like a GT500. The only thing I heavily dislike is the headlights, making them slimmer and slimmer should not be a trend

The C8 uses a flat plane crankshaft, just like the Ford Mustang GT350, however is uses a weird firing order.
Id take the gt 350 over the c8 any day

I saw in an article that the GT, this model, will be around 3700lbs. The heaviest version will actually be the v8 convertible at 3900lbs. The 2022 Chevy Camaro convertible weighs 4100lbs for comparison. The new mustang looks bigger, however it is almost exactly the same size as the old generation, only being 1 inch longer.
