For what it's worth Leno was like that too, he was great with the animals and let the experts talk and be informative. Kimmel and Fallon who I both really enjoy, always cut them off and make the same corny "Oh God this thing is gonna eat me" joke. They won't even touch some of the animals.

They're ALL terrible. I literally cannot watch any Animal Expert segment on any talk show host except Conan. The worse is Kimmel, I can't stand his "OMG A BIRD IM GOING TO DIE LET ME STAND 10 FEET AWAY" shtick. It's old, pathetic, and most importantly, unfunny.

Dark Light Most animals don't typically attack humans unless they're scared or threatened, and most of the animals seen on talk shows aren't apex predators.

Conan is so good with the animals, it's so refreshing to see that from a talk show host seeing how most act absolutely terrified of anything that comes near them.

Conan may sometimes be overly rude to the animals experts, but the man is a thousand times better at handling animals than any other late night show host.
he gave the normal talk host jokes, but still doubled down on the mans message: "don't have them as pets."
and I agree, most baby animals are cute, but they will grow up ..... even farm animals, baby sheeps and baby goats, baby donkeys and baby cows etc.... they are all cute, not to get started on baby chicken ..... but give them a month max and they are animals.
@@belalabusultan5911 My godparents bought a Vietnamese potbelly pig in the 80s, and once he grew up into his full size, they just left him by himself in their side yard. He used to have full roam of the backyard, but their terrible son would beat him for coming onto the patio.

Conan tends to do that in nearly all the animal segments. I've noticed that some people tend to stick with either "he" or "she" even if they know the animal's gender.
