Thank you for saying so! This is certainly our aim. Of course we hope that you will buy our instruments, but the main point of our video channels is to educate and help push musical boundaries.
There's an art to designing circuits that nod in a particular direction without loosing an open ended feel that inspires exploration. Make Noise are masters of this. Can't wait to put this one in the case!
Damn this is amazing! For the last 2 weeks I was looking for a mixer with quality n handy stereo paning to use in studio production and now you guys announced this (!!!) 100% MUST HAVE !
I like where make noise is going with the stereo gear lately. Hopefully we can get stereo erb-verb and stereo echophon in the future to pair up with this and the qpas!
Re: stereo EP, just utilize the FB in/out. It's not the same--I know--but give it a try, I think you'll find it does some really nice things. Pair this with VC panning, and some creative patching, and I think you're good to go.
wowow. i had no idea this was coming. i guess 2019 is all about stereo! complements rosie and qpas nicely as well i'm guessing... another add to my wishlist :-)
Great module. Wasn’t sold at first as I want to have a quadraphonic mixer. But this seems to be a more logical choice with a make noise system in mind!
Yes! More AM synthesis tools! Like Steely Dan implicitly says: A.M. All static at all.. Can't wait for this one. I need you guys to start making a 156hp 7u case :)
If I wanted to add this to my Shared System plus what module would you recommend getting rid of so I can fit this in? It would have to be a STO that I added plus one more. I’m thinking Moddemix.
X-PAN will fit in the bottom row of a Shared System Plus. You'll have to remove the blanks and slide the other modules to the left. I'd put it between René and Morphagene.
Too bad you couldn't cram this into the shared system bus. I mean, how many unbuffered mults do you need anyway? Just use stackables for that. Keep something like Rosie on the bus for sends and you'd be golden.
yes, of course! the outputs could be patched to the Aux inputs of the next X-PAN in the series. Also, RxMx, Optomix, modDemix, Dynamix all have Sum outs and Aux ins, and could be chained with X-PAN as well (Left Aux input on X-PAN is mono-normalled to work well with all these others).
Developing an innovative module like this takes a lot of time, and they're not going to be selling millions of these. So while the price might be a bit high, I think it's only fair.
my wallet wishes i only had 1 ear
I'd be living in a much nicer house if I was deaf.
I think it may be time for a 3-row shared system.
lol I just emailed them today asking about this. ill keep you in the loop when I hear back.
I love it how Make Noise videos are very educational and interesting even when I don't currently need the product itself 🙏

With nothing patched to its inputs and outputs, X-pan acts as the concept of imagination realized through the manipulation of sound and place.
Very nice! And the price is right. I Will definitely be picking one of these up. I love that it's both pan and cross fade. So useful.
Now this is very very useful and much needed. Make-awesome-modules-that-produces-noises.
It looks like a small module, but it will make the Shared System sound ten times as big.

"we're gonna need a bigger case"
Another step into outer space with MN :-)
I've been wanting someone to make something like this! Hope to get one when I can...
exactly what i was looking for ages!! thanks for making this pan module! :)
Just what I’ve been looking for !
X-mas is early this year!
excellent excellent excellent combination of features
Keeping it minimal with just the 0-Coast, but damn that sounds great! Stop tempting me.
My god that’s bad ass! Well done! Pre-ordered!
soon, I will as well!!
Another great module thank you Make Noise.
Love the trend of Eurorack going stereo
damn , good job again, definitely will get it soon, ADDAC monster case awaits
Great job guys!
jut ordered one, can't wait to try it !
Happy patching!!
The inspiration for this module was derived from the Serge X-FADER, I’m assuming?
This is the module I NEED
Very nice. Will be curious to compare to worng soundstage, though I guess that's strictly for audio. Wish more people used the term "psychoacoustic"!
YESSSS! Pan be damned, X-FADE!!!
imma be an early adopter of that three row cv bus case
Yes! Oh the possibilities!
The schematic of Mark Verbos?
For real! Headphones.!
Make Noise going full stereo?
Yes! More AM synthesis tools! Like Steely Dan implicitly says: A.M. All static at all..
Can't wait for this one. I need you guys to start making a 156hp 7u case :)
sounds awe- awesome
It's great, but separate stereo outputs of each section (Normalized/cascading) would make it ULTIMATE!! (But bigger, I guess.)
At 1:16 your voice x pans... are all MN personnel apotheosing?
If so, are you hiring?
Have WMD Blender + Intellijel Planar for the similar use case, however 10HP squeeze of X-PAN is also great!
The Hasselblad of Make Noise modules.
you guys are amazing!
Cool stuff!
nothing is patched in the aux in : is it an attenuverter or a send of the 2 stereo channels ?
It's a stereo input with VCA. It does get patched in the video for you to check out.

MAKEN0ISE Sweet! Cheers.

I had that exact thought! :D
Awesome!
that is brilliant.
Can these be daisy chained?
yes, of course! the outputs could be patched to the Aux inputs of the next X-PAN in the series. Also, RxMx, Optomix, modDemix, Dynamix all have Sum outs and Aux ins, and could be chained with X-PAN as well (Left Aux input on X-PAN is mono-normalled to work well with all these others).
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC thanks for the reply. So there's no bus connectors on the back to link them and preserve the aux input on the subsequent x-pan?
No, they are chainable via patch cables, so that you can reconfigure the chain at will for decentralized, modular mixing.
Want NOW
Pan law?
Holy cannoli.
I hope you bring it with you to superbooth 19
It (and we) will be there!
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Hope to meet you.
Availability ??

Take my money
Ode to the almighty STEREEEO
Nice, but on the expensive side...especially for EU.

Shut up and take my money.
Who the hell downvoted this? Very peculiar.
