Thanks brother! I’m a newbie learning all that I can. I’m buying everything little by little. Need a bow press and vise so thanks bro. I’m doing the draw board also you taught me.
I got a Last Chance Archery bow press. Expensive but works great. Buuuut now I’m cheap and a $200 to $300 bow vise is out of budget. So the $50 one it is. And it does works fine.
thanks for this review i'm going to buy a bow vise, because in my country we don't have many archery shops here thats why i need all the tool , i ordered that yellow color vise online and now thanks for this video i now i know to use it.
I have the yellow one and it's a pain to get a bow perfectly level in it. I just ordered the micro tune. I'm just too meticulous with my work to be fooling around with the yellow one. 🙄 . Meticulous enough to notice that your d-loop was on backwards on that bow. Lol. Have you done any third axis sight leveling with it yet?
Haha....I guess I need to go re-tie that d-loop! Thanks! Yes, I've used that OMP Axis Leveler which works well also. Of course, you'll still need to verify the third axis at full draw, but works well as a good starting point!
Good question! If you can swing it, it's sure nice to fine tune your leveling. Makes it a lot easier. But...still very doable with the standard model. Thanks for watching!
Hey there! To change out the string you'll need a press as well. These vices are great for the tuning process after the string is on. Thanks for watching!
When using the OMP Micro Tune Vice to adjust the axis levels on your bow did you notice any problems with bow or vise movement or bouncing that made leveling the bow more difficult? I read a few comments that others have had this problem but only with the micro tune vise. What was your experience using this vise?
Hey there Craig! I've really liked the micro tune and haven't had any issues with it bouncing like you mentioned. It's been fantastic! Thanks for watching!

@juanrodriguez-mu7ko absolutely! Glad to be of some help! Thanks for watching.
Ive just bought the yellow bow vice from my local shop here in Ireland 🇮🇪 for tuning my bow and the bow sight 😊
Excellent! That'll get the job done! Thanks for watching.

I hear ya! It adds up quick. But yeah, the cheaper one works fine as well. Thanks for watching!

Hey, nice review. One question, those levels you were using on the omp vise? Do they come with the level.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful. Those levels don't come with it...but you can pick some up pretty easy. Thanks for watching!
Great information

@@BackwoodsPursuit for sure on that "full draw." Well, good deal then and happy d-looping. 🤪
@@ArrowItArchery haha...thanks man! I appreciate it!
Do you think the micro tune version is work $100 more then the normal version OMP wide limb?

Are you able to use these to change the string

@@BackwoodsPursuit Thank You, I appreciate your help!!
@@CFIRST58 any time!
I would take a guess and say the jumping might be from the screw threads. I bet a tiny touch of grease worked into those threads would smooth that out
@@ArrowItArchery great idea!
Wow, the OMP is 6x more expensive than the AAP
Yeah...it's a whole lot more expensive that's for sure! But, it is a lot nicer as well! Thanks for watching!
