@@missmustardseed Ok. Lol. It is what we are used to. I didn't know how sharp the blunt end was. I am fascinated by folk and historical clothing. I even have the FOLKWEAR pattern for Japanese field clothing that talks about indigo and SASHIKO. I so enjoyed yr instructional vid and the marking process (which I had wondered about). I love CLOVER brand which I discovered at a quilt show a few decades ago. The marking pen 🖊 that dries white is amazing. Thanks for replying 🙂.

No thimble? Hmmm.
The back of this needle wasn't very sharp and it went through the felt easily, so I didn't use a thimble. You certainly could, though!
