The Third Annual Aarhus Workshop on Recreational Fear included talks by Joe Hill, G. Neil Martin, Asser Thomsen, Lucie Daniel-Watanabe, Jenny Hamilton, and Caitlyn Trevor.
The workshop was organized by the Recreational Fear Lab, a research center at Aarhus University, Denmark. We study frightening leisure activities, such as haunted house attractions and horror movies, and are interested in the psychological, physiological, and social dimensions of recreational fear.
