When I first started in NRL22, I shot paper targets. NRL22.org has a downloadable target package that you can print off that’s dimensionally accurate. It’s a great tool when you first start!
@@22LimaRomeo I started out with fairly low magnification, but for some reason, I kept on being below the target, by quite a bit, the second day I was finding targets fairly quickly, but still struggled with more than half. I imagine this will get better, the more I shoot.
@@biagiocozza8875 it will! Quick target acquisition takes practice. When you go to the range set out random target at various ranges and practice finding them on 12x magnification. This can also be done at home using the Defat system. When I first started 22 Lima printed the monthly cof Defat (link is found on the first page of the COF) and taped it across the house. We practiced finding the targets just fine without the actual Dfat system.
It might be, I just watched that section again.. and I looks like I may’ve been loaded into that bag with the magazine. GrayOps bag stop might be a simple solution.
@@22LimaRomeo Try it at home, push on the front of the mag- it drives the nose down where it won't feed. Do you have the velcro pads on the mags-? also may eliminate the problem.
Any tips on shooting the Easter Egg Hunt stressor? Our club always shoots the stressors. It calls for support side which put a dent in our scores yesterday. Finding targets, parralax adjustment and 6 distances from 25 to 100 yards. HELP!!😮
There is no magic sauce to shooting prone support side unfortunately. It’s particularly challenging for this stage, because parallax is going to need to be adjusted to see targets clearly. Proficiency can only come from practice. I know I certainly don’t practice shooting prone support side nearly enough, but I think I’m going to start every time I go to the range until I feel like it’s no longer awkward for me.
@@Womfat , typically Option 2 is targets at further ranges. But course designers have been creative, and are finding other ways to make a stages more challenging.
That’s a good question.. Honestly, I don’t have a good answer. Because you’re bipod isn’t technically touching the ground, I would say it might be fair game.
We could see this coming... My opinion, is No. To me, if violates the intent of the stage and if I were MD, I'd clarify that during the match briefing. This one is an easy "No" and doesn't put anyone at a disadvantage. JMO.
Just found your videos - I LOVE how you add insights/suggestions/tips on how to approach the various stages.

Really enjoy your COF videos.
All the details plus a few tips in a short amount of time

Great Video as always. Thanks I look forward to this Video because i shoot the NRL22 match first Saturday of every month.

Awesome, I'm having hernia surgery this month so....... it was nice to see what I'll be missing, thanks
I hope your surgery goes well, and your recovery is swift. Here’s to a new year and better shooting!
Boom! Love it. I’ll be out there this month 👊
Glad your going to make bruv!
Excellent video with thorough explanation!
Glad it was helpful!
Good job bud. Great walkthrough.
Thank you! Hoping to clean a COF this season!
Very helpful. There are so many ways to build a position
Absolutely!
Great video. Those are some awesome practice drills. This is what I need to do more of, just need some targets now.

@@22LimaRomeo Thank you very much. I have been to one match so far, it was very tough. Most the time I could not even find the targets.
@@biagiocozza8875 when you shot the match, what magnification was you optic on?

I think you misfeeds on the trap was your mag jammed against the bag.i got the Grayops bag stop- problem solved. Great vids as usual- Happy New Year!

Is that chair stage supposed to be a 90 sec par time?
If the shooter chose Option 2 to ratchet up the difficulty, then yes. Otherwise, all par times are 120 seconds.
@@22LimaRomeo Ah I see, I'm not familiar with how the options work. I thought option two was farther targets.

Hi Mate, what large bags are you using, just the behemoth?
I only carry the Behemoth with me to the range anymore. It’s shape has made me abandon everything else.
Looks like I'll be getting one then!
Can I put my bipod inside the tire on the first stage? Asking for a friend.
That’s a good question..

@@rugertuner3946 I agree. Saw it on a youtube walkthrough so I though 22 Lima Romeo would get a kick out of it.
