+Richard Stapleton because her gym gave her 20,000 for expenses and USA gymnastics pays for all training once you make the National team. It is well known that her mother is "disabled ", and lives on ss disability. Especially when you file bankruptcy twice last being in 2012. You see where your hard earned tax dollars go.
+Richard Stapleton her family chose between paying for gymnastics lessons and having a nice house with luxuries. They could only afford one. ..until they couldn't even afford that anymore, not even with sacrifice, because she was gifted and required more expensive training. So she had to leave her family and go live in a foster home close to where she could get that training, because they couldn't afford to move or pay all her living expenses. Next time Google before you comment. It will save you the effort you're making right now to come up with something that discredits everything I just said to save face after being wrong.

I'm sure she tried to brush it off, but she made a lot of careless mistakes which cost her the all around and an individual medal. I guess the haters got what they wanted.
Its not just name calling. What has been said was on a public stage, with nearly 3 billion viewers at a time when Gabby was physically and emotionally stretched beyond belief along with feeling like the weight of the world is on her shoulders. So for her to take what she has she is strong beyond belief.
We salute you Gabby. You've given the best of yourself to this sport and your legacy and what you've contributed to the beautiful sport of gymnastics will live on!

I know her story and ik for the first year or more of her life she lived in a caravan, I know for the next 15 or more she lived in a small house and shared a room with her sisters. They struggled for money a lot and I'm so happy to see them like this now xx

I hope she stays in gymnastics. I really do. I think she needs to go back to her other coach from 2012 though. Her family is a big distraction though mainly her dad's side who just want her money.
I agree. She switched coaches so many times which is what hurt her the most leading up to Rio. She's still one of the best gymnasts in the world and has a lot more to give. She just needs to master the mental game. Her biggest obstacle is her nerves.
I don't think her mom & siblings is a distraction they sacrificed going broke and letting her go away for a long time.
I think they were the reason she left Chow's gym. She wanted to train and her family (and lawyers and agents) wanted her to take advantage of the endorsement offers.
The story is that her lawyers and Chow could not agree to certain terms. Her mother told her to listen to her lawyers and she left the gym.
First of all, how are you letting a lawyer decide what is best for your gymnastics career?!?! All he's interested in is money!
But I think she was torn by what her family wanted (support/money) and what she wanted (Rio 2016). She decided to support her family.
I understand wanting to take advantage of every opportunity since gymnastic careers are so short but once she decided to make a run for 2016, she should have listened to the coach that helped her win her first 2 medals - not some lawyer who probably knows nothing about training for the Olympics.
Ok. I'm done with my rant. I wish Gabby all the best and hope she puts herself first in the future.
I think all of her endorsements are a distraction. Reality shows, etc will mess up your game big time. Gymnastics should be priority number one. Maybe she's over it.

Tired of our people downing each other. Hair she is exercising something you don't know about sitting on the couch like a fat cow. lol If you exercise you sweat a perm will sweat out anyway.
