    Glad to see your comments that it's just water, mud and water can be a disaster.

      Yes, mostly run off from the streets around us.

      Thanks, in reality it never got high enough to go inside the actual shop. Thank god it was only water. I saw the flooding up north last week, and the river water left a ton of mud to clean up. So this was just a good wash down for the outside of the shop. Looks better than before, LOL.

    The amount of flooding around Thailand this year has been next level
    I'm glad it didn't rise any higher an fill Sassi May's salon. There's a bit of cleaning up to do but thank Buddha it didn't get higher.
    All is well that ends well Bruce

    I live about 35kms NE of Chiang Rai town. I was in Koh Chang and Hua Hin at the end of August through September and missed all the flooding. Luckily I live a few kms from the Kok river and quite high up so, the flooding wasn't an issue for me while I was away. Looks like I was lucky to have missed the flooding in HH to. Hope everyone gets sorted soon.

      @stevenshaw6766 it lasted all of 2 hours. Mostly streets flooded from runoff. No rivers here to overflow like up north.

    Hope Sasi's shop is ok. I have been flooded in for two days without electricity in Chang Khlan, Chiang Mai. These are apparently the worst floods for Chiang Mai. So many houses flooded, people in chest high water, it's terrible.

      @sasimayandbruce  17 днів тому +2

      Absolutely, This little inconvenience that we had is nothing compared to up north. I left Chang Mai just in time by the looks of it.

    I know the feeling I experienced flooding like this and the cars flying by.Not easy best advice is to forget about them,it only will cause you stress, the damage is done already.

    Glad the Sasi Salon looks relatively unscathed. Lol…those scooter riders need to educate themselves to what height their airbox sits. Good video, under the circumstances.

    Newsflash; there is no Ocean in Hua Hin, it's the Gulf of Thailand. Why do all Americans say that?

      @Ahm.nae-fou yeah the "Farr west". Thar being the case, let's just call the liquid that covers the earth "water around that dry stuff known as land." Of course, this is the American English description
