"Home is more valuable than money in the bank". Interesting sentiment from a famous rock star. Many in his position would have houses around the globe.
Oh man, what a flood of memories! I watched this show religiously when I was growing up in Japan. I watched it on a black&white TV with crappy antenna reception in my room. My parents didn't think the TV worked and I would watch it late at night when they thought I was sleeping. Katsuya Kobayashi totally changed my life!
Robert is so gracious with this shy Japanese interviewer, trying to put him @ ease. He could charm the pants off the most stodgy person easily! Those eyes!!! I'd love to interview him,but not in chairs....hahaha🌹🌹🌹✨ From Ms Plant residing in snowing Canada needing him to warm me up...
⭕️ Dear Robert,in your lifetime👇🏼 I would like for you to (at least feel the start of) the long overdue Appreciation And recognition for How cutting edge you were through the first 3 solo endeavors‼️ What you with Blunts willingness to see your vision propagated & submitted was just Fantastic! -Wreckless love -Sixes &Sevens -Slow dancer(omg) -pink&black -Samosa -Mekon TRUELY unexpected & mind opening to this hard rock & early Metal loving high school Ears! We NEVER would have heard those different sounds If it wasn’t for these efforts of YOU & your open minded friends! Thank you!
I'm stumped. I wanted to say it was Masanori "Masa" Ito but then I realized Masa does not speak English so fluently. I'll bet he would know however! I actually think this was recorded in LA on June 17, 1985 after the show at The Forum. Robert alludes to having performed that night and mentions the people "at home in Japan". If he were in Japan he'd have likely said "here in Japan". Finally, I believe the program title is "Best USA" but I'm still working on it. Again though, highly unlikely a program recorded in Japan would be "(anything) USA". More likely it was a weekly program featuring Western Music artists recorded in LA for telecast in Japan.
Funny in a lot of these interviews around 8283 directed like their careers are about done like you know they they’ve done all they can do in this at another here we are in 2022 and he still going

He certainly hasn't destroyed his career. He's the only remaining former member of LZ that has continued to evolve musically, write and record songs and perform live.
I love plant so much. Cool dude and a brilliant guy and so freakin talented
He’s so smooth, so kind, a very articulate genius.
I want to give him my love, 0h whole lotta love.💗💗
A nice interview indeed, interestingly, for Japanese viewers. Fascinating conversationist. So genuine.
True artist/always on the move and speaks very accurate of the state of hard rock in the 80's.
I got to see him in 1985 when I was 15 and loved him and Robbie Blunt. I was instantly hooked on live music
Robert is a man who keeps reinventing himself. He is soft spoken, and very articulate.
Will ❤ this guy 4ever!!!!
Anita Bell Hell yea

He's so damn hot, even when he's just talking. And he definitely knows about it, charming man.

Мне нравится рок музыка, но не вся. Роберт Плант почти всегда понимает когда крик души на сцене зашкаливает и надо потише
this show name is ''best hit usa''
interviewers name is ''Katsuya Kobayashi''
the name of this showBest hit USA Interviewer is Katuya kobayashi

А в одном интервью Роберта Планта у его ног под столом плакала собака, нельзя ли поговорить об этом эпизоде? Зачем ее показали?

Things began to change in 1977.
