Just recently came across your videos and even though I'm no farmer (city girl through and through) and I can't say I'm interested in sheep (the babies are adorable though and I'm an animal lover in general) I find your videos comforting especially in the middle of dealing with a sick cat and hoping I don't have to make that dreaded hard decision but wanted to put it out there your content is a UA-cam gem. ❤
Your videos are always so relaxing to watch even though I know you are busting your butt working! I grew up on a ranch and I miss being with all our animals including my sheep! So watching your videos reminds me of all the good times I had growing up on the ranch here in Texas. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us every week ❤
Loved this episode, especially that Jess is in a tractor helping with harvest and not laid up on the couch mid-recovery from a chemo infusion. ❤ The first day of wheat harvest had quite a few postcard-picture moments that I even wrote down to go back to later - 11:10-15, 14:30, and 16:45 ❤🌾❤🚜❤🌄❤ And the best for last in my comment - a snort-laugh at Sandi's remark, 'Everyone just needs a little lube'.... 😂 Indeed! Absolutely agree!

Hurricane remnants are a Class-A nuisance in the lower great lakes! Some wind, lots of rain w/ some flooding. Look up Hurricane Hazel. If I remember rightly, it hit Toronto with a vengeance!
That big Momma needs a WIDE LOAD banner! 😆😆😆 I'm going to guess she is carrying 5 healthy lambs. I'm rather new to sheep and am learning so much from your videos. Thank you! 🐑

The only thing I'm worried about with the dogs is that Piper might get hurt accidentally because she is so into things. I know sheep aren't the most dangerous farm animals out there, but that's still 200+? pounds against a tiny dog. 🙈
farm dogs learn very early to get out of the way around a farm, equipment animals etc. i was raised on a horse ranch and we owned a dog kennel. so about 30 horses anywhere from 15-25 dogs, a few goats, chickens, rabbits and until i was around 12 a few cows. never ever was one of our dogs hurt on the ranch. we learned to keep one eye out for them just in case but they are adept at moving out of the way and keeping a safe distance from things. if piper gets a head butt now and then it teaches to to stop harassing the sheep and not get too close if they are not in the mood. all part of farm life. she's only a year old still puppy stage so is still mischievous nosey but learning.
Wow, that’s some baby bump! I think she’s having 4 really big lambs. Sandi, get ready for some big pulls! Glad wheat harvest is off to a good start. ❤🐑 🌾🚜
The drone footage at 14:33 is spectacular! I adore this channel, the Brocks are a kind, hardworking, knowledgeable and wonderful family. The lambies are my most favorite part and the videos make me smile (except for the hard parts, but that is life). Sandi’s flock of followers (99.99% of them!) give me hope that there are still good people in the world. Be well. Take good care. Be kind.
Using my phone data and last bit of battery life on my phone just to watch this video. Lol our power has been out for 12 hours and looking like it won't be on for another 24-32 hours. Hate sunmer storms.
What a joy to watch the two of you work together. When my niece first started dating her husband, he was so happy to tell his mother, "She can even drive a tractor!". She now has sheep and cattle ,while he does their own fields and custom harvesting. Lovely to see.
Sandi, Mark, harvesting wheat in July is better than having to do it in the autumn, daylight is a lot longer, this gives you more time in the light. Stay safe, all of you love from Mike.❤
That's ridiculous, people can't tell you what you can and can't do on your farm, that's like someone coming to my house and telling me they don't like my dogs being in my house. If they don't like something don't watch. Piper is your family. Xx
Love your videos. Your dogs including Piper are as much fun to watch as the sheep and so well behaved. I think Newie Big Momma has at least 4 little ones on board 2 for each side. The picture of the sunset was lovely and so was the pictures of the wheat harvest.
Yup. Piper has learned not to let herself get backed into a corner by the sheep anymore. She had a couple of run ins with mad ewes and she learned from those.
Dogs just want to be around the action and their people. That's what dogs do. Full stop. I love watching the harvest. It is so satisfying to see the results of planting and nurturing a crop. I always grow a vegetable garden for the same reason. Love it. Any kind of farming and husbandry is hard but so satisfying when successful. Direct rewards are so rare. ....a new Marge, ay? Love her!
I wouldn't care what others say about Piper. She is still a puppy and wants to be with her family. On that ewe I would name her big mama jr. Can't wait to see the new lambs. Love the babies just like we all do. Glad Jess is still doing wonderful. ❤❤❤
Piper has so much a better, exciting and active life than most city dogs. She is so obviously a happy animal. My dogs were never on leash until we moved to the city. Being with her humans, learning from Kinsey, being around farm animals, just being free is a happy healthy life for dogs. Unfortunately I live it city and sometimes I'm sad for my leash bound city dog. But he does get a lot of attention and activity from me. I only get rescue dogs so that's an improvement on their life's. Love you, your family, dogs, and sheep! ❤

"Is it chewy"? How funny.....way, WAY back as a young kid, the field next to our home grew wheat. When the gentleman (Mr. Degarmo) came to harvest it, he would let us neighborhood kids climb on the combine and grab off all the stray wheat. We would put into a large 5 gallon bucket and then we would sit on our front lawn chewing it until it turned to "wheat gum". It is a memory so fresh in my mind, I often reminiscence over that taste.

Your wheat is beautiful, I love watching harvest, but lambing is my favorite. I know you, Mark and the kids really work so hard, but what a wonderful life. My grandparents on both sides farmed and of course had all the usual farm animals. My grandparents on my dad's side used horses to plow and harvest. I miss all of that and them. I don't have a problem with people making daft comments about Piper because at least it shows that they are interested. It also gives better informed folk the opportunity to correct them. Net benefit all round and Sandy herself is a very resilient woman so I reckon she will handle it ok.
Piper is a pupster still, she’s bound to investigate. The sheep soon tell her when they have had enough. She’ll learn that way. She’s a farm dog I don’t get why people get so uppity. Don’t listen to others, you know what works for you. She just wants to get involved and do her version of help. I love the fieldwork, I know it’s hard work for you guys but makes me feel very tranquil. I think Big Mama 2.0 is having 5
A beagle doesn’t fully become an adult until she’s 3 years old. She may reach adult height and weight at 18 months old, but I don’t think she’s reached that mark yet. Shes an adorable, cute puppy who’s still learning.
@abigailclayton3505. For her breeding, Piper probably reached her mature _size_ at 10 months or so. You're right, _most_ breeds are considered "adult" at 12 months. My experience is that -- depending on the breed and the individual -- *most* dogs start to "calm down", take things more "seriously" at around two years old, but they *_decide_* to "calm down" around *_four._* But everyone's different. And everyone's different in how they teach their pets. Sandi seems to let the sheep instruct the dogs as to what the limits are. I get that. I teach my dogs [cats, horses, etc] manners, what behavior is acceptable with humans, & make sure nobody damages others. I don't "over-train" the... _"dog"_ out of them. They *absolutely* obey when i give commands, but i have dogs because i appreciate the help, and i _like_ dogs. Why would i strip out their curiosity and playfulness?, I do let the other species teach each other what's permissible -- again, as long as no one gets harmed.

Man that baby bump
Its crazy how smart Mark is!!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
Farmers have an insane amount of skills
I ❤ Sandi but I also ❤ listening to Mark and his heavier “accent” ay!
I think she's going to have 6 , oh my lord have mercy!!!!
I’m so excited for lambing to begin! Sandi.. I’ve always been a huge animal lover but with you sharing your life as a wonderful farmer.. I’m so in love with those adorable lambs! Love you, your family and your sheep!! Thank you so much for sharing! 🥰🐑
Remember to listen to the positive things people say about Piper. We love her!
Though I don't think Kinsey should be kicked out, she lives and breaths those sheep, and is there for you always. She's so invested in the sheep you can see her jumping at the window to make sure everything is ok. I'm sure she was beyond confused why she was kicked out.
I think she was referring to Lucy and Piper, but I could be wrong.
Wow big mamma is really momming. The drone footage looked amazing. Great visual work ❤. I admire your energy Sandi, you never fail to impress me.
@shannonrusso4935
Welcome to the Brock Flock!! ❤️
Jess is really rocking those Chemo Curls! It’s so wonderful to see her well and working with you. ❤
Farming is so much work! Makes me appreciate the food chain!
I couldn't help it. When you asked Mark "What's the story?", I said "Morning Glory" at the same time as he did. Great minds think alike!!
Big Mama will always be a part of Sheepishly Me!
❤ The first day of wheat harvest had quite a few postcard-picture moments that I even wrote down to go back to later - 11:10-15, 14:30, and 16:45 ❤🌾❤🚜❤🌄❤
And the best for last in my comment - a snort-laugh at Sandi's remark, 'Everyone just needs a little lube'.... 😂 Indeed! Absolutely agree!
Hi, Sandi! Thank you for sharing your life in the day with us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think that mama will have 6 babies. Don’t worry about people complaining about Piper. She is your dog, and you do you.
boy you guys with the heat and working outside would kill me ..have a great day stay cool
It's great to hear Jess is so hungry! You go girl❤🎉😊
Never realized hurricane remnants made there way up as far as your area. Learn something new every day. 😊
I was happy when you mentioned recycling the plastic. Every little bit helps. 😊
Thank you! 🐑
Lucy takes care of the school bus lambs.
Looks like you definitely have Big MaMa number two, lol, I'm thinking 4 too! Yes it's so different from this time last year, Jess is looking great, and life is moving forward, Sandi, thanks for the update, always fun to see what you are up to.🐑🌱❤️👍
I get happy when I see a new video. I do want to say I love Jess hair. The curls are beautiful.
You guys are some hard workers, and work together like a well oiled machine!❤
Awww mark saying, “Morning glory” was so sweet. My dad used to say that to me every morning
Mine too !❤
Oh goody! A Tuesday treat! Sandi's here!! ❤
It’s Wednesday here

Shots of your wheat fields are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Be kind.
Mark is so knowledgeable, like how he explains things.
New saddlebag pregnancy sheep - BIG BERTHA! 🤣🤣 ❤️🐑
Another wonderful day spent with you Sandi! Love Jess’s hair,it’s so thick and curly. ❤
Using my phone data and last bit of battery life on my phone just to watch this video. Lol our power has been out for 12 hours and looking like it won't be on for another 24-32 hours. Hate sunmer storms.
Stay safe
Me too, and it's so worth it
Well, I for one am glad you got your priorities in the right order. 🤭
Sandi ! Sandi ! Sandi ! Thanks for all of this one ! I appreciate you and your family! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
My day doesn't start until I watch some sandi😅❤
That's ridiculous, people can't tell you what you can and can't do on your farm, that's like someone coming to my house and telling me they don't like my dogs being in my house. If they don't like something don't watch. Piper is your family. Xx
Love your videos. Your dogs including Piper are as much fun to watch as the sheep and so well behaved.
I think Newie Big Momma has at least 4 little ones on board 2 for each side. The picture of the sunset was lovely and so was the pictures of the wheat harvest.
Sandi, for some reason I just LOVE the Drone footage ❤. You have a beautiful farm AND you are awesome ! Thank you for sharing with us.❤😊❤
Piper won't let anyone hurt piper! Dogs are really good at keeping the self's safe! 😊
Yup. Piper has learned not to let herself get backed into a corner by the sheep anymore. She had a couple of run ins with mad ewes and she learned from those.
Wow ,looks like a great wheat harvest
Dogs just want to be around the action and their people. That's what dogs do. Full stop. I love watching the harvest. It is so satisfying to see the results of planting and nurturing a crop. I always grow a vegetable garden for the same reason. Love it. Any kind of farming and husbandry is hard but so satisfying when successful. Direct rewards are so rare. ....a new Marge, ay? Love her!
Yay! I love my days spent with you on the farm or in the barn! ❤
Triple wide.
All your animals are so blessed to have your family even the sheep just cause there live stock doesn't mean they don't need love💚 love you Sandi!
Sandy, I say she's carrying four big lambs. Yes, BIG MAMA 2.0! ❤
Sandi, you own this UA-cam account, you make the video’s, no one else does on your channel.. who cares if people wanna whine about this or that, they can leave because more will come.. now about Piper, she is a part of your family, she was bought for Jess during a extremely stressful time in your life, she helped Jess and the family through a rough par of your lives.. who cares what people think, she is a part of your family, yes she can be rowdy, yes she’s not trained and yes you guys and a lot of us love her. Please ignore the backlash about her and keep it like it has been since you guys got her. Like I said this is your life, we love watching your video’s, you shouldn’t have to change a thing.. thank you for being here and doing what you do and letting us be apart of it.. we love you, your family even the fur and wool ones ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Her channel and her dog….people need to be told “MYOB” more often!
Kenzie is teaching Piper how to be a sheep dog. She will learn, plus she is so good with the lambs.
Well said i totally agree
I love watching you videos. I use the sound of the sheep to calm me down when I’m getting my blood pressure taken.
The main reason I’m sharing is do you think you could ask Mark to construct a foldable tall table. For when you do your scans. Or Amazon it has everything.
Getting excited for lambing again ❤❤❤ 🐑🐑🐑
Poor mama. Goodness I can’t imagine how uncomfortable she is. She’s the new big mama of the barn 😂😅
boy the boys did their job very well.
I think she is having 5 lambs and Freckles 4 lambs! Freckles 😉
oh my gads the view of the wheat field being cut from above how absolutely beautiful !!!!!!!! and that poor momma oh my my my she be big ... I say 5 !!!!
Those wheat fields are so beautiful.
Agree! I love the overhead drone shots of all kinds of field work. It’s not of course the view you see through the windows of the equipment, but seeing the patterns and everything from the air is lovely. ❤️🐑
At 6:24, that wheat field is the most beautiful shade of gold. Nice to know the grains were tasty, too!
Ah Lucy ... the cool cement must feel good on her back X-D ... RIP big mamma ....
I'm using my aunt's low tech cooling solution. Put freezer packs in a pillowcase or 2 & put them between your sheets before bedtime.(to keep the condensation from wetting the bed) The summer version of hot water bottles 💕💕
5 babies. Hope that she gets her girlish figure back LOL😊
Yay! It's a Tuesday blessing!!
SANDY u got me! I always watch when I can. And today I say as I'm making my lunch for work, I say to myself It's Tuesday ! It's time for Sandy! And I be dang gosh it was waiting for me !! Thank you for this channel, it's just the truth of making a living, reality TV has nothing on true life!
No matter how hard it gets it's still a wonderful life! Thank you for sharing everything it brings back so many wonderful memories. I just love feeling like you make us a part of your life's journey. ❤
Lucy is looking good, as is your sheep barn. Your wheat field is a beauty to behold.
God bless Jess. Last summer was heart wrenching and I'm so happy that this one is so much better :)
How are you doing? You are looking like you are getting back to feeling like yourself, maybe as the grief fades and the worries lessen...
Always love your videos.
Love to Piper 💜
I am guessing four babies.
🎉 ... love when you pop up on my screen... All 3 of your doggies have unique and wonderful personalities.... Piper is the inquisitive energetic youngster, and I love seeing her checking out the sheep with the curiosity of youth!
She should be welcome anywhere!
Although from a screen, I welcome you all into my home!😊
The leaves can go on the fields with the sheep dung. Putting the two together really sets off some rich soil making stuff! Grass clippings too.
It’s great to see the smile on your face, Sandi. ❤️ After challenging months, routine is always a welcome blessing.
Another beautiful video! Thanks.
Lucie looking good moving abit easier
Wheat is such a pretty crop. A beautiful golden colour and majestic, blowing in the wind.
My guess is 4 or 5 babies.
Anyone can see that Piper is living her best life and is one happy dog. ❤
You all work so well together
The chunky sheep is my spirit animal… call her Zoe 😂😂😂
I think Big Mama 2.0 is having 5
she is not a puppy anymore she was brought when jess was going through chemo so she a young adult
@@abigailclayton3505dogs are considered a puppy till 7 months to 2 years.
@@vickilofland5184 no all dogs are classed as adults by two years old they may still show puppy tendancy till three but they are physically an adult by two an do we even know if Piper is a begal or what she is
Wheat is SUCH a pretty crop! That golden color and fun shape of stalk is warming to the heart!
