Miljenko Matijevic is his name . They came along about the time the music scene was changing . He was also hurt at a concert where something from the rigging fell and hit him in the head !! It set the band back while he was recovering ! Never really made it big , but the people that heard them , remembered them !! They did the music for the movie Rock Star . Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston were in it . Miljenko and Steelheart are still performing .
No tape, no auto-tune, no fake pansy pop. In real music, the voice is an instrument just like a guitar or bass.

Steelheart was the first band I ever saw at a small venue when they passed through Akron, OH. in the early 90's. They were just barely on the radio at that point, and this song was their hit. I can still smell the fog machine in my memories, lol. His voice was outstanding in the "hair metal" genre.
He was the singing voice for Mark Wahlberg in the 2001 movie Rock Star. Check out "We all die young".

Before they changed their name to Steelheart, they were called Red Alert and they played in the Ct. rock clubs where Milli would peel they paint off the walls with that voice.

This is my favorite Steelheart tune. 90's band with talent at the end of the rock era. If they were around 10 years earlier, we would all know their tunes.

Mili is unmatched from this . Many have tried . Some did ok. But he is one of one. So many songs you could listen to. She's gone is a master class, Can't stop loving you, Everybody loves Eileen. But if you want a current banger his version of hallelujah is not to be missed. Mili definitely deserves to be in the PDC. Ecstatic you reacted to this and can't wait to see you so others of the band. The vocals, the guitar and the drums make Steelheart legendary.

Sebastian was amazing, still is actually at his age now even. Steelheart was on a meteoric rise, crazy fast. Stage scaffolding fell on him and he nearly died and it derailed the whole band obviously as he had a long hard road to recovery.
This is my favorite Steelheart song. If you like his range then you need to check out Stryper a Christian metal band from the 80’s that are still making music and touring some.

I think a LOT of us were in love. Miljenko's vocals make me want to weep they're so beautiful. A great one from Steelheart is Sheila, the live version. I think it may even be from the same session as this one.

It was a tragic injustice when light rigging fell and struck him severly injuring him. It messed up his voice and he was no longer able to hit the high notes as a result. Had it not happened they would have surely gone on to being one of the big acts of the time. "She's Gone" is his other notable track to hear.
