Good info. I’ve been wanting to upgrade from my GoPro 7 Black to the 11, but for what I have in mind, I think I’ll actually be going with the Insta360 x3. The invisible Selfie stick, battery life and drone-like capabilities are the deal winners for me. I’m not doing as much “extreme” stuff as I used to and I think I can get a little more life out of my current GoPro for those things.
@@nathansaier i made a comparison video on mountain bike between the gopro11 and the insta360 1inch leica edition ... both amazing images ... but still the gopro win in details and dinamic range ... go check my video ...
@@saier5888 if i would now have to choose one for sure it would be the insta360 x3. it's very versatile and u can really make spectacular shots ... the only minus is that u have double work in post production ...
That's definitely not a terrible Idea, however you will be looking at a release in Q4, so it depends on how long you're willing to wait and how much you trust GoPro to solve there OS issues!
Definitely a fair point, one of our main reasons for comparing these two was that they are the "Flagship" models from these two companies, and for us they serve much of the same purpose. In terms of quality I don't think there is any action cameras that compares directly with the Hero 11 until you factor in it's unreliable nature. I also think there's an important discussion to be had about whether the unique perspectives of a 360 camera can make up for the lack of image quality and fps once converted to a 2D format.

Which would you recommend for someone only buying one? We came to the conclusion the 360 was more reliable and more versatile

@@PaoloMassa74 You can use single lens option though.
I’m holding off until I figure out if a Max 2 will come this year. I love the perks of the GoPro subscription.

Why not compare the insta with another 360 camera? A bit like comparing a car with a tractor 🤷♂️
