People just wanna do these things to say “I’ve done this I’ve done that” but if you really wanna change don’t categorize yourself. Just be a better person and quit the bad habits and don’t identify as that person you was before.

Exactly. No more labels, just make it your natural way of living.

Recently came across your channel and wish I discovered sooner keep at it and for monk mode imo I think it is cope to some extent isolating yourself will make you socially awkward and you need balance you can’t be grinding 24/7. You said it yourself you go all out on the first day you’ll eventually burnout, you can still have a social life, work on goals, go gym if you use your time efficiently.

You said it, 2 years ago my life was shit and right about when andrew tate came on tiktok i woke up to reality i don't even remeber what i was doing before that and self improvment was all over me meditation, pushups, eating less, reading, cold shower's but it's hard to do that the day that you don't finish the list it feel's like shit until i decided to stop all that self improvment and i focused on loosing the wheight tbat was my main goal and since i did that iv'e lost a decent wheight so please put main goals then do side goals and the most important advice that i'd tell you is it will take time years yes years,do your best guy's

Literally... two type of videos I come across on daily basis in 2024 (without even searching for them) are "How to get 10k$/month" and "Monk mode". Somehow I'm even glad for this, because I know these trends will die sooner than expected, given how much they are spammed everywhere and at some point, all those people who are making these type of videos won't have anything new to add to already heard fairytales.
I know how much it took me to change my bad habits, lose weight, get over social anxiety, and all the problems I came across in my life (and still am facing). Everything you said is right on the point. People shouldn't cut everything over night, or follow some extreme rules. Just by slowly removing out bad stuff of our everyday life is worth celebrating towards complete change. Problem is: people want instant changes and result, so they consume these type of content and inevitably fail.
Same goes for those financial 10k$ gurus. They will even tell you how easy it is to make that much money, throw some screenshots of their earnings, but no one pays attention at how many years, effort and blood was spilled to get them to that point. People are short-sighted and get super excited thinking that anything in life is possible over night. It isn't, and it never will be!

Short-term thinking is ruining our generation. Might make a separate video on this.

I tried monk mode and always failed miserably. Thanks for making this video. I know this will be sustainable strategy to overcome bad behaviour/habit. May I know the name of the zen background music? I’d like to incorporate this into meditation. Appreciate all the content you put out. Peace.

    Hey Chi
I am on self improvement for a year. I can tell I really changed a lot. Lost weight and got muscles, read a lot. I go to the gym every single day and keeping up the good habits, but I am a little bit getting lazy, like the last month, the drive is a bit weaker and i took more cheat days that usual and enjoyed a lot of time on this vacation. I will be back to uni in the next week. I really want to make sure that I have like daily standards kind of things. So I want to read books but have to study and want to keep working on my business and stuff and also keep on regular fitness. I am making sure I am getting a great diet and exercise. What do you think the 3 main things (like excersise, business or whatever) are the main things I should focus on doing every single day? Like must do and maybe sacrifice time I can do other good habits, because this uni semester is a bit tough.
Thanks, keep up the great content❤

I had a mental breakdown last June and ever since I have been on a journey to improve my mental health a little each day, but I also have realised I need to practice being gentler with myself because I beat myself up too much if I get things wrong
This month I am joining a gym, started eating healthier as well and getting back into my hobbies etc like reading, writing etc

I wanted to do like 7 things at the time:
    Wake up early
    Studying
    Exercise
    No fap
    Journaling
    Meditation
    And sleep good
But as u said, its really hard and there were some days that I lose track of it. So Im going to try your way and mindset

Alternatively when it comes to adding things you could add in everything, but like the extremely small versions
So like for example for exercise you only do 3 push ups, meditation only like a single mindful breath and journaling be a single line
And slowly increase the amount daily or weekly, that's what I did

I think you're missing the big picture of this monk mode, and underestimating will power. what u need to understand is that majority of people are not cut out for hard challenges and enjoys it. some people mind obviously suffers form this because of strong attachments to things and low motivation
