I have used powders and pencils and they look awful on me and do not last. Now, I know what to look for. You are just the best! I especially appreciate how affordable this eyebrow product is. 👍🙌🏻

I had over plucked and hated my brows for so many years. I’ve used so many different brow products over the years but when I saw your NYX lift and snatch in one of your tutorials, I got it and never searched again. Job done and now thanks to you, I’m loving my brows as feel they look natural plus done in seconds. Thanks so much. UK fan. Vx
I am all for a matte demo. At 79, I wear Smashbox or Dior forever matte everyday
I use a setting spray and matte neutral taupe shadow. I have short very white hair, so wear a berry lippy. Still have foundation in lines! Hate it. But overall, look ok for about 4 hours! Also sunscreen under everything!

Love your makeup tutorials! Would you consider doing a blush challenge…Crème vs powder? Many of my friends are switching to a crème blush but I’m just not sure 🤷♀️

Loved this video! I'm 75 and have thinning brows due to over plucking when I was younger and now with age. Filling them in with pencil or powder just doesn't do the trick for longer periods of time. Now I have several options to try. Thank you!

I think you and Nikol Johnson are the best out there for women in our age bracket. Both have wonderful ideas on make up, jewelry, hair, styling, diet, food, manners, and putting it all together. Her vintage Chanel and Dior for evenings, to your everyday looks with jeans. Best of both worlds having both of you to look forward to.

Nice demo. For anyone looking for a clean brand, Ilia has a pretty good pencil and the taupe color works for cooler blondes.
Yay NYX! I started using the lift & snatch off your recommendation and I love it. It is a staple for me now and I keep one in every one of my make-up bags. The last one was the best shade, it softens the face. NYX is good but it's the wrong colour. If the eye is strong (mega-lashes, eyeshadow, liner), then a less defined brow is a more elegant look, plus the strong lip... it's the 90's look!!! More modern is to pick one feature and make that prominent. It's a fresher look. I make a suggestion that'll beat the NYX and that is *URBAN DECAY BROW BLADE.* It's also a pen and the micro precision pencil on the other side. Phenomenal holding power, quality, stays all day long and the shades are fantastic, TAUPE, I'd suggest (since you like cool colours too) and something with 'cookie' in the name, can't remember. Try it, you'll love it, I promise!!! Sadly, EUROPE doesn't fly with this brand somehow. We can't find it anywhere anymore. Very sad, eyebrows haven't looked as defined eversince. AMERICANS are lucky when it comes to make-up selections. You can find them all. I tried the BENEFIT Microfilling one but didn't show up at all on the 'oily skincare' (too slippery) or if one has OLIVE SKIN tone. Now, I too, ordered the MAYBELLINE BUILD A BROW.. and that XPRESS Ultrafine Tip Pencil looks promising as well, ♡♡♡ xx..

I am a commited Lift N Snatch girl of many many years and I get so many compliments on my brows that, like you, I would only change for something better. I have seen the Mabelline pen getting a lot of press recently and was starting to wonder whether it was worth the hype, but you have once again managed to save me wasting my money!! I use the gel from elf or Milani, they come with a great short/stiff brush, and it works for me. I use a lighter color since they all seem to look darker when applied. Your eyebrows look great. Thanks for doing the testing for us ❤
NYX...my favorite. Recommended by you. Been using it regularly. I love it. Would take a lot to make me switch up. As of now; not happening.
I have full brows that are turning gray (I’m 76). They need to be filled in and extended - thyroid issues. I’m excited about the Maybelline Build a Brow. I ordered a set from a company in March to practice for a wedding but it never was delivered. Glad to know what to try next.
So I've been using Anastasia for years. BUT I do love the lift and snatch and only know about it cause of you. I've also tried using them together and like that as well.

So I truly appreciate this. As for videos I would like to see... I need a quick, light makeup look using natural products so I can get out the door faster but still look polished. Thank you so much! I use that Anastasia product along with their thin pencil to get more detailed and the reason I stick with it is they have Strawburn which matches my strawberry blonde hair. I really wish all the lines would put that kind of a color in there. Not everybody's blonde, brunette, or gray.
I’ve never had brows, always thin & fine so never had to pluck. My glasses always cover them but it’s nice to have options when needed! Thanks

Thank you Dominique. I have been doing brow waxing/Shaping in the salon for 40 years. It's instant gratification as you know. I love shaping brows. At the moment I am in the market for a brow pen, wax etc., for myself. I've used them all. Love your timing, and I may have to try your favorite pen. Love any of your make-up tutorials/challenges. You have shared so many techniques that I use and love.
Like you, I like the individual brow strokes. I use the Anastasia in a lighter color as a brack ground color and then use either the build-a-brow or the lift and snatch, I have both, over the top of it, and it gives a three-dimensional look. Give that a try with Anastasia Beverly Hills product and I think you’ll like it much better. It takes the lift snatch or the build a brow to the next level. ❤

I love the Elf pencil. I don't feel like she used it enough. My favorite it the Anastasia.
I use nyx also, it’s my favorite. I have also used the Anastasia brow pen superfine waterproof detail eyebrow pen. It is very similar to the nyx , totally different from the Anastasia you used here.

I haven’t found anything that is comparable, but the Maybelline product you liked might be a good backup if I couldn’t find my favorite. Thanks for this video, Dominique! ❤️

It's ABSOLUTELY my favorite! You and Jenn Phelps both recommended it and I got one - it's amazing. I can mess up EVERY makeup item but somehow I can do my brows with this pen, no problem! It's quick and easy. Filling in my brows makes me look younger and makes me feel more confident. Love it!

You got me hooked on the Nyx Lift and Snatch. I just tried the Madluvv stamp option which does help create a base for my Nyx.

I love Nix also, but there are several other pens you could try. Neutrogena Mirobrow Tint Serum, Anastasia Brow Pen, Urban Decay Browblade, Milani Weekend Brow Pen. Would love to see challenge #2 with these. Thank you for doing these side by side try on. It really shows the difference in formulas and looks.
Love love the Nyx. Been using it since you first started using it n introduced me to it. It does take practice to master how to hold it n the pressure as you apply it. So thank you!!

Lovely as always! THANK YOU for this video!! I too use the NYX Lift and Snatch however I become frustrated as I have to shake it after two strokes of the pen to deposit more color. Do you find this as well? Am I doing something wrong?
I was using the Anastasia pencil until I saw your Nyx video and switched over to Nyx. I’m liking the Nyx. While Anastasia is a good product, it is expensive, would be used up very quickly and the spooley always broke mid way through. Nyx is my new go-to. Thank you for your honest reviews and clear demos.
You make the pens look so easy, I don’t have the same luck, I guess I’m not as good as you are applying them. I’ve had the nyx and use the build a brow everyday.
Hi Dominique! I might have a good dupe for you. I adore Nyx lift and snatch. However, I found an alternative I like ever so slightly more. I haven't seen you sample it yet and thought you might love it too. Milani "Weekend Brow". I love the dark brown color as it is neutral and applies as a pen, but it gives a very natural appearance of the hair strokes. I have purchased at Target and Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I suspect you will really like it.
Son’s wedding in 2 weeks! The young makeup artist has mostly done younger faces. I want to at least do my own foundation but not sure which one to use for dry skin with wrinkles! Cream? Air brush? Matte? glowy? Would love a video on how to get a lovely look for mother of the groom. Thank you for the brow demo too! Brows are so hard to do!

I just purchased the Elf product. I don’t need to fill in very much so it’s perfect for light filling. My brows are dark and full with slight spots missing hairs so I think this is perfect for my needs and it’s far more affordable
I ALWAYS LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos and I’ve been searching for my perfect brow look as well. I was wanting to try the benefit 3 prong microblading one so thanks for including it. I’m currently wearing a Benefit Precisely my Brow and I do like it especially since it came in a kit with Fluff up Brow wax with a mascara like brush and a gel brow as well. In past I’ve used the Anastasia brow pencil you tried and that’s definitely a favorite along with her brow pen. As far as suggestions I’ve had lash extensions in past but the upkeep just got to be too much, time and money. I’m 60, 61 next month and work and get to take care of both my parents 90 & 89 so extra time is short. I’ve tried false lashes but just can’t. I have an expensive set of magnetic lashes but have never been able to get them on and now I’m trying self adhesive lash’s by Kim Gravel QVC her brand LWYA but again have not been able to successfully get them on. False lash which I think I saw one you did a while ago but don’t think it included self adhesive. Thank you for all your expertise but most importantly your lifting up of women and sincerely caring and wanting to help!!❤❤❤❤😇😇✝️🙌🏻🙏🏻💖🤗🤗🤗

My two favorites are the NYX Lift & Snatch to draw in a couple of brows in the front of my brows (they are too spacy from years of plucking as a teen), and then a little filling/fluffing over the rest of the brow with NYX Micro Brow pencil. I have tried MANY and the Lift & Snatch, to me, is the most realistic. I get a lot of compliments on my 64 year old brows from younger women so I think the NYX is a keeper!

Agreed. NYX. I’ve stopped using it because my hand just isn’t steady. Now using my old mascaras for brows. Wow takes me 2 seconds. Of course, blackest black old-school L’Oreal telescopic. Love your content always.
To make hairlike strokes for brows, I was using a pencil, powder, a thin toothpick and a razor slanted brush which i cut most of the bristles from and I could draw precise strokes. After seeing your videos, I decided to try the NYX- but locally I could only find black and grey. I went online...and found SHEGLAM X Friday Kahlo Icon liquid brow pen. Seems to be the same concept. I bought espresso and taupe for my brow and auburn for a receding spot on my hairline. VERY budget friendly. I will never go back as long as this type of product exists!❤Your positive attitude, thanks for your channel content; I'm 57 and I always find something great and relevant.
