    In this video, I get a chance to have Grandmaster Tal Baron walk me through his thought process when he's evaluating a position and coming up with the right move. You could study little things like how to develop your pieces, how to avoid traps, and how to improve your position to set up for the checkmate for a million years and still never quite fully master the game. I really love chess. Hope you dig the series.

    Hutch playing chess with Tal is like the scrawny kid acting tough with his big bro by his side.

    I love this series. I've learned so much from watching them compared to most chess videos on the internet.

    Been watching these videos with Tal and just by watching and applying the same logic in my games, I went from a 900 rating to 1200. Crazy how effective his tips are. Look at the board, look at the threats, develop pieces, looking moves ahead. Really enjoyed these videos.

      1. Is your opponent threatening anything?
      2. Which is your worst placed piece that you can improve its position?
      There's only two.

    Yesterday morning before breakfast I was only ~500 rated. Spent the entire day watching Hutch's chess videos and By the end of the day I got my 2nd GM norm. Today I watched a couple more hutch videos and then boom! I've got invited to play in the next Sinquefield cup! Thanks Hutch!!

      +Nayrisian this wasn't complaining, Literally just asked. I like these vids. All I want on top of this is a nice chill stream/vid of him drinking and playing chess. So I would learn to comprehend a little better, before you make a bigger ass out of yourself.

    Loving the new format of your videos/channel. Couple months back I only came here for cod, now its my least favorite part of the channel(still watch it). Long time viewer(back when you were a waiter and made a vid about skipping work to play for a few days when mw2 came out). keep up the grind dude :~)

    Hutch, you don't need to separate the streams, just make it so that during the game you can only ask questions.

    Thanks Hutch, I now hired a top GM to stand beside me when I play, telling me my opponent's threats and hinting moves and I am now 2400 in chess.com! I tried to bring him to a FIDE tournament this weekend but they told me I couldn't have him there, any tips?

    I'm a novice at chess but what is he benefit of "blitzing" in chess and cutting your time in half?

    • @mrd8376
      @mrd8376 7 років тому +1

      The Blackmailed Gamer I think you gain more rating points if you win the game after berserking, but i'm not 100% sure

    • @TheBlackmailedGamer

      Oh ok, thanks bud!

    • @maizenblue2441
      @maizenblue2441 7 років тому +1

      Close. Not rating points, but points in that specific tournament. You usually get 2 tournament points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. (It doubles if you win 3+ in a row.) If you "berserk" you just get 1 extra point for a win.

      Jonas De Meulenaer Because with big blunders or just in a normal game at a certain level you can tell if the game is over 10 moves before it happens

    • @abek3502

      Jonas De Meulenaer if they know they'll lose they'll quit to play more games and improve their score, also it's rude to string a game along with no hope

    "Im gunna move over here"
    "No wait, just wait a second think about your moves first"
    "OH uuhhh, uhh, ya, uhhh definitely"
    "OK move your rook over here"
    "What about this move?"
    "I mean ok, but that's not a very good move, instead you should....yea, that's the move I was thinking"
    "OH uhhh, uhhm, uhm err ehhh a;lksjdfl;aksd;lfka;sjd;lf bleh bleh"
    This Shit is not entertaining. Ditch the cheater GM and play your own chess, god.
