The AoS fan boy in me wants to be mad about all the negative things you said, but honestly, it’s kinda refreshing to hear a different but still over all positive take on the show! The AoS fan community can be kinda wack sometimes! 😬 But I guess that’s any fan base. Good video my man!
Lol. Imagine criticizing a character for not wanting to leave his daughter behind when he has absolutely no idea or even any memory of his real life. Mac's life in the framework is all he's known when he was in there. Even May and Coulson said that it was not like a memory to them when they got out, it was a life they lived. So, saying all that, a good parent won't just risk it all and choose to leave their child behind just because some randos came out of nowhere and told you that your life isn't real, that your child isn't real.
Right? How can he possibly compare what Daisy is going through to his own "angsty teenage years". It's so stupid it hurts, almost as if he just didn't pay attention during the whole Hive arc.
I'm a big fan of Season 4 because the lore surrounding the Dark Hold was surprisingly interesting and Ghost Rider finally gave the show a big well known character to work off of. The background dimension is also really neat, as the former scientist's ghostly plight ends up paralleling Ghost from Ant Man and the Wasp nearly perfectly. Ghost just got lucky and was only partially trapped in the Quantum Realm. Also, The introduction of Ghost Rider further references Season 1 episode 9: Repair with the hell dimension angle, especially with how both episodes deal with ghosts
This Guy actually Doesn't know what Character Development means..... He actually Called Mack a Dickhead for not leaving someone he loved the most.... This Show has treated each and every character in its own unique way and in a good way..... Slow start doesn't mean a bad start.... Shield is probably the best one on right now and they are still nailing it with season 7..... Blind Wave knows the best and they still call it the best......
I liked Coulson's arc about how he was revived and I really liked how everything (him, the kree, the inhumans, the diviner, skye/daisy, her mother, hive, hydra) tied up. It just all made sense in the end and I really enjoyed watching the puzzle get pieced together throughout the show.
I think a Film depends much more on how good it is than a series, because you are watching the series to have these nice character relationships and not the biggest plots or the greatest action scenes
I honestly watch it for Fitz❤️❤️❤️ he’s literally the best character (so funny snd well written) and is played by an amazing actor! I like Skye / Daisy as well.
I'm a day one of the series. It's easily the best comic book show on tv. The Flash had one good season and arrow had 2. But Shield has 6, no season was ever bad, there were slow points but never was the show bad. First half of S1 was really slow but it ultimately did what it needed to do in setting up the core team for when the big twist happened in winter soldier. Wards action up until the reveal of his true identity made it so shocking.
I would say that Arrow has at least 4 good seasons, as 5 is a really great culmination of the consequences of the first season and Season 7 gave us a really interesting new angle that we've previously only seen from the likes of Iron Man. Still, the show definitely lacks consistency when compared to Agent's of SHIELD.

Mack had literally no memories of him with the team in the framework, so I think criticising him for choosing to not leave a life where he had a daughter is dumb
I understand daisy in season 4 so much she lost everything her love well 2 loves if we are getting technical she did live ward first he was the first guy she truly cared about until he turned out to be hydra she lost her father and her mother she lost so much more then the entire team and Fitz points that out and tells her they have all been through horrible things yet she has been through hell
1) Of course AoS is a good show. It struggled to find it's footing, but it's been amazing the last few years. 2) Thank you for making an AoS video. 3) Season 1 is not the worst season and using ratings to judge the quality of a show is asinine.
Not to say that every show with high ratings is also high quality, but merely that the way in which SHIELD's viewing figures rapidly declined during Season 1 was almost certainly a reflection of its quality at that time.
Critics are just normal people forcing their opinions on other people. Don't take this guy's s**t for a grain of salt. AOS has great character development and even greater storylines. But that, of course, is my opinion; and I have no reason to force it on you. But I will tell you this: You can only find it out for yourself if you have the patience enough to stick through the first 14 episodes of season 1. So try it out. You won't be dissappointed.
I love and adore this show with all my my heart..BUT! Your criticism really was not that far from mine; it's nearly similar. Mack was my least favorite; the Ghost Rider arc had terrible villains, and the team being stuck in the future dragged on a little too long for my liking.
if you think 22 episode/ season is too much then you failed to recognize that most of the season are split into two parts - season 4 even has three parts as for the reasons you didn't like it all I can say that yes, sky was too much at times BUT the overarching story and pacing is out of this world. after ep. 17 in season 1 they found their base they want to follow and if they written people out it was for good reason. they manipulated with less characters for them to be developed and if you didn't like them that was because there was a character trait you don't like. many shows fail because their characters act inconsecventially but AoS never does so in spite of it's faults it's still one of the best shows with one of the best told story.

I LOVED episode 1 of AoS. I was so excited for episode 2, and was instantly bored haha. I literally dropped it then and there it was so bad. I finally picked it back up again this year. I'm halfway through season 5, and I agree, season 1 was definitely the worst. It's obvious that the writers of this show are huge fans of sci--fi though. Every episode of season 1 teases a new superhero saying a new power was discovered, but it turns out to be some kind of tech every time. Then they took a literal spellbook (The Darkhold) and made it a sci-fi item which created their version of "The Matrix". Season 5 has been almost entirely in space now. At least the Inhumans stuff has had genuine superpowers/fantasy elements. Edit: Woah I had no idea they planned on giving Bobby and Hunter their own spinoff show. That makes sense, because Bobby was the most compelling character in my opinion. I can't believe they didn't bring them back when the spinoff fell through!
I am also gutted that they never brought back Bobbi, I think Adrianne Palicki was fantastic on the show! And Mockingbird is a character who deserves to be represented in the movies, it’s a shame that seems unlikely...
I think his season 4 complaint for mack is kinda dumb, because if you have a strong connection with your daughter and told that she's not real, im sure you wouldn't be happy
I 100% agree season 5 should’ve been the end of the show. It was a satisfying ending for everyone. It’s why I refuse to watch season 6-7. No matter how tempted I may be to see fitzsimmons. Overall I agree with this assessment. Season 1 kinda sucked. Season 2 was a bop. Season 3 was great. Season 4 kinda sucked in the beginning but then more than made up for it. Season 5 was batshit crazy and ambitious, and you know what? they pulled it off. (P.s. YESSS Raina is sooo underrated. I loved her development and her ending was satisfying to watch as was Cal’s. They were both my favorite side characters that ever went on the show.)
your missing out while season 6 wasnt all that great aside from fear and loathing on the planet kitson and inescapable which is a fitzsimmons episode season 7 is a legit extremely good season and in my opinion and alot of others ended better than season 7 did

I don't get his over the top hatred of Mack. He acts as the moral compass of the team, and he seems to be very religious, which could rub some people the wrong way sometime. But he's right most of the time, and the team needs that now that Coulson is not in charge anymore. His take on Mack in the framework is horrible. It makes me question his credibility. I don't understand how he can have so little understanding of the character and the situation.
I stopped watching this video halfway through season 3 cause I think if I watch this whole thing I might have cancer if you really watched the whole thing you would know the characters names which you don't, another problem I think they explained pretty well what happened to coulson. Overall not a great review so far I will edit this thing as I go. Edit1: season 4 I dont understand your thought process and how you watch the show... In the end of the first half of season 4 you learn that the main villian was Eli. Another thing the framework is supposed to repair your one mistake that you regret and for Mack it is loosing his daughter Hope that is why he acts like he does because the framework is the only place where his daughter is still alive and he doesnt remember YoYo for him she is a stranger in the framework. I give up i am not watching this anymore I get now why this video has so many dislikes you bring up such stupid points and criticize them that I am actually thinking this video is a joke. Make sure to rewatch the show to know what is really going on.
The one thing I don't like about this show is the constant political jokes that you can tell are leaning one way versus the other I know it's a show about government agents and things going on in the government but they really shouldn't bring real world politics into it.
Started season 1 but couldn't get into it. Like most network shows they unnecessarily stretch the story out over too many episodes. Based on this review it doesn't seem worth the time for an above average show.
My opinion, no its not good. Its realy bad actually. Disney does know best in this regard, the 6episodes per Season is much better. The story does not have time to become stale, repetitive or boring. Same for daredavil... man...what a borefest.
They were fighting with super strong robots, kree, and villains with super power like theg were humans and also were getting hit by them and standing straight like with no scratch even agengers get hurt and even killed what were they super soldiers. And the villains who had super powers were being hurt with the punch of normal humans. This makes no sense.

I thought it was neat that they tied the movies into it but how is it none of the Avengers know Coulson in alive and director? As Fitz would say "What the Bloody hell" I truly couldn't wait until it came on and would sit with childish anticipation and wonder. so anyway...any show that can pay homage to the great Dr Gonzo has to be played more than once to catch on. So much going on. kudos I thought you were honest and fair. Mac can be an ass sometimes but he makes up with a shotgun/axe

Season 1 and 2 had a lot of flaws and I personally hated it most of the time. S3 was alright and S4 started off well but I started getting really bored after the first few episodes and then stopped watching the rest.And like you said the ghosts were pretty lame. I doubt I'll enjoy the rest if s2 was supposed to be better than 3 and 4 etc.

The first season was only really slow for the first 10 episodes, after that it was not stop

As soon as Ward was introduced I knew something was up I didn’t trust him, it took over 20 episodes but I was proven right

I loved this show but the season six entire story line (apart from daisy and the crew in space) was underwhelming

I thought season 6 was great. It was a nice love letter to the characters of the show.
