I am 34 this year and got my diagnosis on ASD-level 1 early this year. I can relate this very much where you think no one can understand you and ever try their best to understand you. And my worst experience is no doctor believed that I am possibly divergence until this 6th doctor I visited. Thank you for making the video, we need more awareness on autistic women.
Educating our society on Autism is imperative and at times, we tend to overlook on how we treat an individual, regardless of who they are, with compassion and respect. Thanks for raising awareness on Austism. It is not easy for people with autism and their family ( my son is autistic). What we can do to be aware, understand and support them. This type of awareness video goes a long way to help them. ❤

Thank you for this video, I am not autistic but this resinated deeply in me until i cried, having finally found recognition that i wasnt alone
- punished for doodling in class or huming a song that was stuck in ny head (because the class was boring or confusing)
- hard making friends in school who shared the same interests or hobbies as I (only through time and meeting more ppl did i gradually find)
- being nice to aunties and uncles who i completely couldnt understand what they were saying due to language barrier
You were never alone Joanne. We are glad that this story helps you to discover that and remember how hard times may have put you down sometimes but they will not last forever. May you find the strength to face tomorrow in the love that surrounds you today ❤
No one human being is the "same". That's what society want us to buy into. Because it is good business sense. Ppl that don't "fit in " the mould is "defective" no good to the business centric world. And now it too can open up new business stream of "caring" for those with the "label" something not right and "fix"
No one is broken.
Just a little fracture. And that is where the light comes in to the darkness.
