I couldn't imagine how the grandfather must have felt when he accidentally ran over her. It's great to see that this devastating injury didn't hold Aspen back from accomplishing her goals. What a strong, inspirational little girl.
yeah same
I can’t even

I love it too!! 🥲❤️ also, how old is she? I do gymnastics to and I can’t do anything she can yet well some of them like the running round off flip flop, and she seems about my age!! But also, I love how brave and incouraging to other girls and boys of all ages!! She has inspired them all!!!

Wow, even in the hospital photos she still looks so positive. What a strong little girl. It would be so easy to say "my life is over", but she said "no no no, my life is just beginning. Let's do this"

Yes!! I would have been like, this will never be the same, but she's using her foot as an ADVANTAGE!
As a Arkansas girl I love that one of our cheerleaders helped show that Anything is possible. Aspen is a beautiful girl with a even more beautiful soul 💖
You are a strong girl

Thank you for sharing your story with us. Aspen is an amazing little girl & gymnast. Thanks to you investigating a better “foot” for your daughter; not only have you helped her but like you said a lot of others. I do hope that seeing her thrive helps her Grandpa feel better - that must’ve been horrible for him even though it was an accident. This is a very inspiring story - keep thriving Aspen!❤️
Same thing happened to my daughter at 4. She is now 7 and is very active, wanting to do everything! So far we have played softball and done pageants. She wanting to do soccer and gymnastics as well.
Awesome!!
Soccer is a very special sports. There is an adapted version where players play with crutches and without the prosthetic leg. It's really impressive. For example this year's best goal was from a polish guy playing with crutches.
It makes me happy that people are more focused on making prosthetic limbs usable instead of how realistic they can look
Yup! Screw blending in, I’d take functionality any day! I’d want to live normally, not be hindered because I can’t do anything that could break my realistic body part.
Scottish Rite is a wonderful hospital! I’m so glad she’s able to do what she loves. I hope to see her someday at the Olympics!
Paralympics..
I CANT WAIT to see her in NCAA gymnastics someday!! What an inspiration!!
You and me both

This story was especially inspirational to me since I'm also a gymnast and she gives a great example of how we should never give up!

How does this video have 1.2m views and only 15k likes?
Go Aspen! Your such an amazing soul, thank you for reminding me what greatness looks like and to never ever give up.
And to Aspen's parents- what an amazing job you've done raising her. She's got your shiny 🌞 bright heart's 💛
100% Agree. Just hard to understand. I do realize now that watching UA-cam through a TV doesn't lend itself to a very easy user experience as far as liking videos, etc. So that could be a reason. Not sure. The dislikes are kind of heart breaking if I'm being honest. I would at least like to have a reason to know what could be better.
Omg. I am a gymnast and I feel and broke my leg and I was so scared to get back up. But I did cause of this video right here. I feel for the grandpa
Admirable! Little warrior.
❤️☺️keep killing it sis

You will thrive, because of your spirit, drive and talent! All the best to you!
Wow she's amazing!
Something about Aspen reminds me of a young Lilliana Ketchman from "Dance Moms." Lilliana was a preemie and had health issues as a young dancer, and something about Aspen's story and just her overall demeanor about what happened to her and how she's still pursuing her dream reminds me of Lilly. Good on her, I hope she continues to be successful!
Incredible!
Wow what an inspiration 😊🧚🏾♀️🙌🏾🦋
So inspiring ❤❤❤
I was on a competitive team with an amputee girl she was a flyer she was amazing at cheer and gymnastics! ❤
God bless her.. She's one brave girl

Please be respectful in your comments. UA-cam decided on their own to disable and delete all of the encouraging comments since the launch of this video a few days ago. I was fortunately able to communicate with them to get them turned back on, but just barely.
I love how confident she is!
Oh I know aspen she’s so sweet! I remember her when I used to go to excite what an inspiring story I watched them record!
What a beautiful story - the triumph of the human spirit! The sky's the limit!!
Fabulous and gut wrenching as I was cheering with her to happiness; congratulations Aspen. I’m sure the Grandfather felt horrible. That is one reason why everyone; including adults, need to stay away from machinery of all kind until they are shut off by the operator. It can be extremely dangerous...even causing death. Each piece of machinery states this when the operator is using them. Just as how to use them and why eye wear and potentially ear wearing may need to be worn as well. Safety first❤️
She has no foot but she would not let that stop her and she would not give up wow 🤩 this is so inspiring for people in and out of gymnastics 🤸♂️
hugs to you and her!!!🥰
So proud
I cry she is very inspirating❤
meanwhile charli’s mom was crying cause she sat in the back of the class.

You are so kind
Adore this little gal❤️
Wow!
I used to go gymnastics as a kid. Its not easy even for abled bodied people, for an amputee it must be at least twice as challenging. This girl is phenominal and truky inspiring. I hope she makes it to the para olympics
I used to think my Dad was being dramatic about it, but when I’d be next door with the neighbors and they were mowing the grass, he told me to never go near it.
I’m so glad she is ok
