I remember doing my first solo flawless run, the very first dungeon I attempted was Spire of the Watcher as a pretty green, inexperienced player. I wanted the cool looking cowboy emblem, had no idea what the hell I was getting myself into. I remember grinding what felt like an entire month, trying to make headway through the bs. How incredibly unfair the health bars felt, how ridiculously lethal the add scenarios were, and how weak my builds felt. The absolute frustration of making it so far, and dying to the most ridiculous, embarrassing thing possible. But when I managed to kill that final boss running something as absurd as Void Hunter with Sixth Coyote just so I could get more invis uptime against that asshole, it was one of the best feelings I ever got in gaming. Glad to see you got a taste of that success brother, and hope you get the itch to come back for more like I did haha. Thanks for another nostalgia trip and can't wait to see more from you dude!
That’s awesome! Me and my brother did prophecy solo flawless at the same time for our first. We both played Xbox and our tvs were side by side. At the end we’re looking at eachother to see who was gonna finish first
Honestly, Shattered Throne is ONLY difficult cause of there being no rallies, since it was added before rally flags became a thing, because it was, after all, the very first dungeon. Hence, the longer you take to the compete it, the harder it gets. Incredible effort, Brad! One thing I’ll add as well is that soloing endgame content like dungeons (or even raids, in very certain scenarios), is the epitome of “you’re here for a long time, not a good time” but DANG does it feel nice when you finally complete it.
This is the true raw uncut feeling of soloing a dungeon! I remember when I solo flawless’d ghosts of the deep and every death felt like it took a part of my soul. I damn near shed a tear out of pure anger when I got the final boss to a shred of life and blew myself up with a rocket the same way you did with the GL. But when I finally finished it and got the emblem it was by far one of the most satisfying moments I have ever had gaming! Ggs brother, keep up the great content and REAL experience.
6:30 When i did this dungeon (my first ever dungeon btw), I was told that a sniper rifle/bow/high damage long range weapon was absolute the way forward at this part, and it was. Ideally sitting back where you can go back into cover, taking your time sniping the ads before moving on is the best way to get through this part, the fact someone was telling you to use riskrunner for this section is crazy :'D you did really well though brad, was a great stream as always, and very very funny (desk smashing part lol). you should be super proud!
I just want to say the music choice for when Bradley was watching the clip to see what he missed was phenomenal. I immediately cracked up laughing when I realized what it was from. Good job Bradley and congratulations.
Congrats man, even though people say shattered throne is the easiest dungeon it’s also the most punishing because you have less and less ammo each wipe because no rally flags.
Risk runner reduces arc dmg too and some taken use arc. That slowed area u just gotta run through cause those thrall are relentless. That last boss, each of those knights u kill will add time to dmg the main boss but you prob know that now.
Shattered Throne was originally only able to be done every 3rd week during max curse week in the Dreaming City. It was one of the hardest pieces of content in the game, especially solo. As players got stronger and learned the nuance of mastering the endgame, it ended up becoming a lot easier for the long time vets who have thousands of hours in the game. The emblem for soloing this was one of the biggest flexes in the game within the first year that it came out. I have run this dungeon so many times that I often forget how difficult it was when it first came out, so it is honestly refreshing for me to see a newer player to the game conquer their first solo. Congrats and this is just the beginning! The feeling of accomplishing this is addicting and it will only add to your want to start going through the other dungeons.
His first solo run. Welcome to the intense pain similar to elden ring. Good job man! Keep learning builds and meta, and mechanics and strats Love that your still rocking destiny. To see you dissolve into sweatcicle level pain was golden content Cheers brother
Here’s a tip, you’re on Warlock, put on Healing Grenade, it feels weird at first, you might throw it at an enemy lol but it’s really good in emergencies
@@BradleyTheBradster You could also just get a grenade/melee ability kill anytime to proc Devour, then keep it up thru weapon kills. Also make orbs through helmet/arm/reaper mods, then there is a leg mod that heals you on orb pickup. Buildcrafting can do a lot for you!
Goddamn Brad. GGs. That feeling at the end there is why I still play Destiny. The insane gratification that comes with doing something truly difficult. Grats man.
You're already better than many people I have played with for years, however that's not the point, you enjoy it more and are willing to do stuff to get more fun that they won't, many can't even do content without looking for a guide or someone teaching them everything. Keep up like that you're already a star for many Destiny players.
this is the most entertainment i've had in along time Brad. i remember my first clear of this dungeon and it was frustraiting af until i got the right build for it. GGs man
Awesome job man! Watching your videos brings back memories. You’re on a fast pace to be solo flawlessly dungeons soon. Took me hundred if not thousands of hours to solo my first. Now I’ve done every dungeon solo flawless but again I have thousands of hours. Anyways, nice work 💪
The developers should watch these videos. If the devs are asking themselves what's the new player and casual player experience, they must definitely freeze the video at 16:18 (that's not a happy player or a player that's enjoying the game doing something solo for the first time). I've been playing casually since the game came free on Playstation and I no longer even try most content solo since I get so mad that end up closing Destiny and moving to play another game. I understand his frustration. I don't have the time or patience to keep adding random players to help me add clear or understand a mechanic that requires doing something that's not intuitive. I'll keep playing at my pace, but this type of experience don't retain new or casual players.
I hear you man. My best advice right now is to join my discord. I have the most active and positive community in the game right now. Tons of people to play with
Brad you are hilarious and I love your sound board edits tooooo funny!!!!!! Your content is refreshing and entertaining!!! Keep up the good and hard work, we are witnessing the next big streamer!!!!!✊🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love the emotion man, both the good and the bad. The feels are real. I really do like your D2 content. Keep it coming 😀 I was also surprised to see some of those snipes hitting for 999,999 like WTF!!
Man… these vids are great! Watching your experience takes me back big time. All solo vets were right there with you. “That wasn’t the final boss” 😂 I said the same thing!
Man this was hilarious...I definitely felt your pain. This was the second dungeon I tried to solo when I first started trying harder content & man the ogre room in the second boss encounter absolutely stomped a mudhole in my ass the first several times I tried Shattered Throne, I want to say it took me three phases, it was a demoralizing experience lol. I went back through it recently just dicking around & one phased his goofy ass, even though I'm still not "good" it was nice to see I have improved a good bit.
Awesome stuff brother! Soloing dungeons for the 1st time is one of the best experiences in the game, imo! Like anything else, they get old after so many runs... but that 1st time theyre a real treat. This dungeon is pry the easiest or possibly 2nd easiest in the game brother. They get significantly much harder. Turn off to many, but when you get a good handle on the game youll do shattered throne solo with ease & welcome the challenges ahead! As long as you continue to enjoy the game keep the uploads comin! Cheers! 🍺
@@BradleyTheBradsterYeah its not too difficult more of a chill dungeon, quick run for pinnacles if you chasing that power level. Teaming is great fun in dungeons as well. It also allows you to continue if you happen to GL yourself! Man, that one got me i feel like i was in the zone with you in that moment 😂 i cant tell you how many times ive had that happen in the most crucial moments usually a teammate jumping in front of me. What a soul stealer 😂
This is pinnacle destiny content imo. Me and my friends went in here blind when it first dropped, took us 6 hours. We were all drunk by the end. Good times 🥺
That was good man, very good. Insane how you survived at the end there. I solo'd this about a year ago and had a very similar experience. Nice fucking work!!!!
Love your content Brad!! lol... 21:00 thats why i dont play GL solo lol... For this boss Microcasm kill it fast! My Titan Stasis with Microcasm its a 20 seconds boss fight!
I would highly reccomend looking for a setup that alliws you to heal more in solo content, run a healing grenade or find a good solar primary or special that has heal clip perk on it. Run a recuperation mod on your boots (heals you on orb pickup) and a reliable way to make orbs (siphon helm mods for your primary killing weapon, gloves mods to make orbs on grenade/melee kills if your using a damage grenade/melee that can snag kills, and a reaper mod on your bond for any weapon kills shortly after you cast your class ability)
congrats man!!! ive never seen someone come so far so fast. easiest dungeon or not, soloing a dungeon is no small feat!!! now ya gotta go for the solo flawless lol
I was expecting the new esotic mission but shatter throne!? Good content bro! Keep it up! Everybody else is just blind nowadays, nothing but complains! Is so sad! We are here cause we love the game. Keep doing what u doing man!! Loving it! Love destiny!
The face of pure defeat after finding out the Ogre wasn't the last boss had me. Im sorry for your pain and suffering, but damn this video had me dying 😂. Keep up the fire content my brother!
Trust me Brad, keep trying stuff like this. There is so much to do right now for you still but once the grind is gone, it’ll be stuff like this (if you have the interest) that’ll keep you playing. I started season 18 like 2 years ago and I started doing solo GMs and tried out a 3 man raid. Also have been running solo flawless dungeons off and on since season 19
That was fun to watch man. Lots of people have solo'd this but very few have done it blind. I know all too well the intense frustration of restarting after a death. So I don't try solos anymore. LOL
I’ve be come a fan of this man. He’s going through the true experience on this game I swear😂 keep doing you Bradley
That feeling of conquering something in destiny though.

One of many
No help what so ever, yep
where was the solo?
anything but solo
More or less solo lol
“That wasn’t the last boss?” 😟
I felt that in my soul man. We’ve all been there though, glad you pressed on though.
Keep up the great content!!!
😂😂😂😂 @21:00 the pain and face we all made blowing ourselves up using a GL with a sliver left on any solo boss fight. Relatable
I swear I do this twice a play session 🤡
26:41 this feeling is what keeps me logging on.
This same feeling allows them to keep milking your wallet for low quality content
Never missing a Brad vid

BOBO celebrating his victory while brad is dead inside. we all need a friend like BOBO

You should do the quest in that dungeon for wish-ender exotic bow, it’s really good
100% Wish-Ender = Staple weapon. Not quite as good post nerf, but still really good for GM's (Built in Anti-Barrier).

my guy, i've been playing this game since vanilla D1 and I only JUST did a solo flawless clear of this dungeon this past December - RESPECT, sir!
